The front staff are excellent. The location for everything can not be beat. The room was big and I like that there is a dresser to unpack my clothes and hangers to hang stuff up. Had exactly what I needed at great price for the location (Quiet, Secure
private room; Breakfast included ) Everything was as stated on their
website or better. Staff are very friendly. They gave me an itemized
receipt. Perfect for post docs and students or others on a tight budget

I liked the price, the location worked well and was safe, albeit 'downhill' from Nob hill. My initial anxiety about the location disappeared quickly. My room was cozy, in the basement, and turned out to be very quiet. Bed comfortable, room clean. I had fresh air from a window on an inner courtyard, and even with the window open could hardly hear traffic. Hotel was fairly quiet, overall.

The staff was helpful and even booked me a shuttle to get back to the airport. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but very cleaned. The hotel is five minutes away from the Castro area and the F cable car is right outside the hotel. -
