  We stayed at the Courtyard before our cruise to Alaska. It was within walking distance to Safeco Field, shopping, and the waterfront. Bus service was available outside the front door. The desk clerks were all very friendly and helpful. They were always willing to find a bus route or give directions to attractio - I liked how conviniently located this hotel was to the WaMu theater. We went to an event there that weekend and only had to walk 10 minutes to get there! Not have to worry about a taxi or anything. I liked that there was a wide variety of restaurants around the area and that we were able to walk around a lot rather than drive.

  Location was good if you like walking. We walked to Pike Place Market and monorail without any problems. Monday to Thursday you get a free meal at night between 5-7 pm with beer and wine. It was great. Breakfast was ok. Coffee and tea available all day long. Our king size bed was very comfy. Staying at Hotel Max made me feel like I was part of the 'cool kids' hipster club.   We booked this because it was by far the cheapest option and was a central location, thinking that we were likely to have to put up with sub-par accommodations; but were VERY pleasantly surprised at how incredibly comfortable the bed and pillows were, how clean it was, the addition of the little kitchenette and the somewhat spacious and styled bat... what people say » hroom. I would recommend this place to anyone. - Great hotel for the price. Staff were attentive and very helpful. I was allowed to check in 4hours early and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean, warm and comfortable with free wifi, small kitchenette with coffee maker and a great price. Good location near to Downtown and the space needle, I can't recommend it highly enough
