  Room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Unusual to see hard surface floors in the room, but made me feel better about cleanliness, potential bug issues. Lovely modern room with a huge really comfortable bed (more comfortable than the bed on the cruise ship that we joined a few days later).   Everything! We especially loved the bunk room set up! We traveled with two parents and two adult boys 18 & 20. We all wanted to stay in the same room but a typical 2 double bed set up in most hotels would not have worked and having two rooms in a typical hotel would have meant us being apart and would have extremely expensive. We arrive super early and even though we couldn't get an earlier check in at 8am she called the spa to allow us fix ourselves up and change in their facility. She did her best at getting the room ready and personally called us back at 1230 to let us know when it was. By that time however I was already 30 minutes away by foot thoroughly - What didn't I like?? It was at a great location 5-10 mins walk to Empire State and Times Square. Subway is only a block away. You have a 24 hour organic deli across the road Bread and Butter. Korean food and restaurants open till late. 15-20min walk to Chelsea and soho. Les Halle's french restaurant is just across the road! We couldn't check in til 4pm but not a problem as we left our luggage there so we were able to start our tour of New York. After hours having to use your room key to get past the door security officer then also to make the lift work makes you feel safe. The location is fabulous. 3 minutes to Grand Central Station and about 10 minutes to Macys. I love this hotel so much that I'm going back in 3 weeks to stay for a week!!!
