  Loved Chicago from the Navy Pier to the museums,the variety of entertainment, the walk-ability of the city, Millennium park, loved it all. A table or another place for toiletries would h - Hotel Sax was right in Marina City. There was a little grocery store close by. Several restuarants within walking distance including Chicago's House of Blues and Dick's last resort. I was great to walk just a few steps and look at the Chicago river flowing by. I loved and and will go there again.

  We liked the hotel. It was in a good location if you are visiting the city. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and had a problem with checkin. Our reservation was for a double room away from the elevator with a river view. They only had two rooms left and they were by the elevator. The staff were congenial and respectful, appearing very invested in meeting our needs. We loved the attention to details such as, the lovely aroma that enveloped us when we walked into the lobby. Our comfortable room on the 21st floor, gave us a view of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River, State Street and nearby skyscrapers. We would definitely stay there again.

  The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was beautiful with alot of nice "little touches" like scented candles lit in the lobby area at night. It is centrally located and very easy to get around. Concierge staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.   Travelling with 5 young children and 3 adults can be daunting at times, but ALL the staff from the doormsn to the dining room, front desk to managers were absolutely incredible.   I really liked the location. We were able to walk to several places we wanted to visit, including the Art Institute and the Doughnut Vault. The check-in was quick and easy, and they were nice to suggest some places we should visit when asked. We enjoyed having a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishes & cups, coffee pot, and popcorn in the room, in addition to - I can not recommend this Marriott Residence Inn highly enough. The location, the comfort, the price, and, most appreciated, the graciousness and helpfulness of every staff member made the entire five-day stay memorable and enjoyable. I hope to return for leisure rather than business.

  I loved that the room was nicely sized for our family of 4. There was plenty of room for us to spread out in the room so we didn't feel like we were right on top of each other. I especially like the elevator security, one has to swipe your room key inorder to go to a hotel floor.   Outstanding stay. Check in was awesome with great assitance from Pedro. Worked with us and got us a great upgrade with river view with only a $14 fee. He was helpful and energetic. I booked the smaller room, which was just perfect for 1 person. I loved the 2nd floor club area, with tons of seating, office type space and a fantastic espresso/cappuccino machine. Oddly, my favorite perk was the bottled water available on each floor. Staff were incredibly helpful. I also appreciated the automated check out process from machines in the lobby. Will def. Stay here again, next time in Chicago.
