The staff are all so nice! When u are a guest at the Mave u are treated like royalty. Even my dog was treated like a princess! Plus the rooms are beautiful, modern & very clean. The beds are so comfy! If u need something all u have to do is call the front desk & no sooner do u hang up the phone are they at your door with whatever u need. Amazing service! Excellent location! I would stay at the Mave every time I need to stay in Manhattan.

It was my daughter and son's first trip to NYC and coming by train it was a very convenient location. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and locked our luggage after check-out so we could sightsee. The beds are extremely comfortable, room was clean and I felt very safe travelling alone with two young children (10 and 5yrs). Excellent budget hotel much cheaper than most but great value for money. Clean no frills rooms quite large for NYC. We had a Queen bed our room had a small annexe room (no door) for our 18 year old daughter. Each room had a flat screen TV, airconditioners and each a small walk in robe. I loved the hotel. The hotel is old and shows it's age but was very accommodating for experiencing New York and the area. The room was a bit hot, but all things considered like I said it is a old hotel. I would stay there again and again and again. The staff were over top with customer service, anything I asked or I got not problems. I would suggest they smile more, no one in the area of NYC smiles and that is sad, so I understand why they don't, but a conscience effort should be made to s

The rooms were very large for NYC with a nice view of the Empire State Bldg. What I liked the most was how clean and modern the hotel was. Our room and bathroom were immaculate.
