The staff was very friendly, especially the bell hops and front desk
clerk. We had a tv issue and they were in our room in 2 minutes after
the call to fix it. Despite what you read on some reviews, the elevator
wasn't that slow. Plus, it is New York, learn to wait sometimes. We
had a good view of lower Manhattan and the river. The room was very
clean and can best be described as efficient in design. Perfect walking

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and hotel was in a good location, out of the city centre but easily accessible to anywhere via taxi or the metro underground. what we really like is that the beds are firm because my husband has a bad back, the size of the room so we don't feel squished in like many city rooms and the closeness if the subway plus beautiful to walk along the river and sip your moring cofee
