  I booked this hotel for a quick two day trip to see San Francisco with our kids based on the good price compared to nearby hotels, not really expecting much in the way of facilities. My wife even encouraged me to reconsider after out of fear it would not be clean or safe. I'm happy to say we were very surprised and happy with this property. The rooms were clean & tidy with plenty of space. I would definitely stay here again.

  Excelent relation price/quality and value for money. The hotel is recent and therefore very nice accomodations. The employee who received us was very friendly and pleasant. It has free parking (though it has limited parking places, all guests had their cars and we know that for sure because the hotel was full, we arrived late and were able to park... what people say » with no problem). It is modest but has fruit, croissant, tea, nice coffe, chocolat - Hotel is spotless; the manager, "Yogi", willing to help in any way (e.g. she got us a 3 liter water bottle instead of the 2 1 liters we were to receive for 3 days), personally carried my breakfast to our room (I was using a cane); breakfast is adequate with excellent coffee (I'm a coffee maven). Located near lots of good restaurants in the Marina District on Chestnut and Steiner streets.

  We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our journey around the West Coast and had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We stayed on the second floor which had a small dining area and outside patio which we used alot. The room was a bit on the small side but had everything we needed and was clean. Location is great. We left every morning by 9am and came back around 7pm, so it was perfect for the amount of time we spent there. We and many others enjoyed the wine that was served every evening in the lobby between 5:00 - 6:00 PM.   I always stay here when in San Francisco. It's a great location and I always feel safe and comfortable. There's breakfast and the staff is very nice.   The location is good, the neightboorhood is really quiet and safe and there is some small places to grab something to eat... close to lombard street which is reall close to the fisherman wharf and its easy to catch the buses from there... the place is clean and really confy.. we were not expecting much because of the price..but once we got there w... what people say » e were amazed, cuz the room was really nice and look really fancy actually, cable and wifi were good and the personal was really helpfull. - It looks a bit run down on the outside, but inside the rooms have been renovated and are very nice indeed: meticulously clean, very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave in ours, very handy. Spotless bathroom. Free (ample) parking in SF is invaluable. Location is very good too, just a very short walk off the lively Union street, convenient for buses... Overall, definitely recommended, we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area.
