  I really liked staying here. It gave you that old "New Orleans" feel.I Loved the friendliness of the staff and the place is clean! I left something in my room and they went to allot of trouble to help me get it back. You won't find that kind of service with some of the big,fancy hotels. For the moneY I was very satisfied. We enjoyed our stay there... what people say » and we will book again. :) - The staff was helpful and responsive and the manager/owner(?) is a stand up guy who definitely goes above and beyond. The location is perfect for hanging out in the French Quarter. It's really cheap compared to other hotels in the area. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, plus no bedbugs! If I was back in NOLA on my own again, I'd definitely stay here.

  Location could not have been better. Quiet safe street, just a few blocks from everything there is to see in FQ New Orleans. Character of the building made you "feel" like you were in NOLA. This was probably our favorite place for location, budget, cleanliness and privacy. It felt like we had our own apartment and you really get the full Quarter experience being in the heart of the neighborhood. Easy walk to everything!

  hi all my partiner and i stayed there for 2 nights last week carol greeted us with the biggest southern smile around she and the rest of the staff were most helpful getting us settled in after a 16 day trans alantic cruise we had 2 friends traveling with us they had a mixup with there booking dates BUT carol sorted it out and found the acco... what people say » m at one of there other accom hotel no trouble at all we loved the area sooo close to everything and would stay again and reconmend to anybody to sta - A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two blocks from Bourbon Street. - Located in the heart of French Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Bourbon Street, 10 minutes Jackson Square or Canal Street. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller. I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money.

I would absolutely stay there again if the price is not too high and if I could get the same room with a view on the Mississipi and not too much noise ...   I came as a solo traveler in the middle of the night because of a late flight, and even though the staff had confusion about who was supposed to be in which room, they handled it just fine that evening and in the morning when we switched rooms to get it straightened out the way we were supposed to be. Everyone demonstrated very good customer servi... what people say » ce. Everyone maintained a smile and obviously was doing their job the best they could and kept high customer satisfaction in a confusing situation. Th - Staff was excellent and the hotel was in the perfect location in a quieter section of the French Quarter (but still close to all the action). The room and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable and looked recently renovated. We were very pleased with our whole experience.

  The staff greeted us from the door man to food staff when we came thru the lobby to get to our rooms. My gosh! The view of the river was glorious especially at dawn and dusk when the tug boats and the cruise ship floated passed my window as we planned our" quick spend weekend and a day in new Orleans .The food was wonderful and the staff was eager... what people say » to answer and recommend places eat and fun paces to see near the river.Hotel is beautiful in side and the room was more than we expected of luxury ho - Everything..We checked in and was told only a double-double was available when I had prior requested a king. We were there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and Drew who checked us in got very busy searching for other accomodations for us. We ended up in the tower suite with a murphy bed. I had heard those could be uncomfortable,but let me tell you the one in the Marriott, was more comfortable than most king size beds we have stayed in at other hotels. Definitely recommend this hote
