  Beautiful hotel in the best location. The rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing. The hotel is located by really nice cafes and great restaurants, although I would stay away from the Italian restaurant right next door. Bad service and not very good.   Out of context the rate seems a little bit expensive... But we compared with so many other hotels in the area, and I really think this was the best hotel for this price range! The location was amazing - north beach on one side and chinatown on the other; walking distance to fisherman's wharf... Breakfast was simple: cereals, breads, juices, boiled eggs. The price was good compared to others in the area. I liked the location, I wouldn't normally stay in "china town" but I enjoyed the experience. One street over is North Beach, which isn't a "beach". More appropriate name should be "little italy"; very good italian restaurants. I would stay here again if the prices stayed the way they were.

We could walk to Fisherman's wharf as well as to the businesss district, and also the cosy street with Italian & other restaurants & bars was in walking distance.
