  We were a young couple visiting from the Caribbean and had first stop off in Arizona for a week for a business trip. We had no regrets! When we arrived at Knights in I noticed that the previous hotel where we stayed had charged our credit card by mistake for a room that was prepaid by my husband employer. Situated just outside the big city and only a short 2-4 minute drive into the heart of L.A., Knights Inn stayed true to the amenities that were offered; 100%. Clean street, some shop owners even hosed down their sidewalks as the day began. Just across the street is a great bakery and small markets. I was a bit disappointed that internet access for my own device was an extra charge when it was no extra charge at all the other hotels we stayed at along our trip. Seemed like maybe the were hurting for business but they weren'T. Lots of people there. - I liked the fact that it is an old hotel, which has a lot of class. I have been there before and with a city the size of LA, I feel comfortable with the location. I requested the highest floor possible and the quietest area and my requests were honored.

  Everything...The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. When I arrived I walked into the filming of an HBO sitcom in the lobby!! My stay at the Hilton was just one more thing that I loved about my visit to California - Comfort and familiarity of a smallish boutique-like hotel, convenient location (was in LA for son's Graduation... what people say » from USC), super friendly and helpful front desk staff.

  As soon as we arrived this hotel captured us. It's location was easy to find from the airport (though the driving on the other side of the road/car was a little taxing). The Standard sign placed upside down, the fire heated outside seating area, the colouful indoor waiting area with pool table, warm and welcoming staff with a hairdressers and shop... what people say » all waiting when you enter. We were upgraded to a room with a larger bed and docking station (the bed being the biggest ive seen, let alone slept in) - Everything was perfect. Excellent staff, special mention to Rodrigo, very helpful since the very beginning. The Rooftop is simply amazing, with a nice atmosphere and good music. We did not used the pool as it was always full, LOL. The location is also very good, with the 7th street Metro station 2 blocks away.

  The photo's do not do this hotel justice! The essence of this hotel of rich history or sport, that dark, seductive feel to the rooms- it really was such a wonderful stay! The staff were FABULOUS and so helpful towards our every enquiry. Breakfast in the morning was so refreshing (somewhere that finally serve fruit without it being covered in sugar... what people say » !!) the rooms were spacious and the facilities that were on offer was like no other! ( seriously, how many hotels have a basketball court and running - * Atmosphere of the Hotel - felt like you are in an exclusive private Club. * Liked that you were able to use all the Clubs facilities at no extra charge (indoor swimming pool, gym, squash courts and basketball court) * The breakfast (cooked) was included in the room rate * Location was great to be able to use public transport (bus & subway) + only 20 min walk to Staples Center * King sized bed
