  The neighborhood is very interesting with lots of good restaurants serving nice meals at interesting prices (Stella Maris, Il brigante, MarkJoseph steakhouse, Suteishi,...). During our stay we had a quiet room on the 5th floor. The staff was always friendly and willing to help.   Great hotel and good value for money. We stayed with 4 people in a room and it was good sized. The room was very clean and the location is quite good. We had a car and therefore could easily reach all tourist locations without any problems. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety, though the breakfast area was not very big. - Location w... what people say » as good - about 3 blocks from a major subway stop and with quick access to the Brooklyn Bridge so it was easy to get in and out of the city with our rental car. It was very safe and clean and parking was readily available - a HUGE plus in Manhattan!

  The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great nights sleep, bed was so comfy and big plus we had a great view from the 22nd floor. It is in a great location, just walking distance to wall street station and if you turn left and cross over when leaving you end up down a beautiful little cobbled street with an outdoor cinema and restauran... what people say » t near the dock. - We came to New York overnight by bus, and arrived at 8am. It was cold so we went to the hotel to see if we could get an early check-in and warm up. The staff was absolutely amazing and did everything they could for us--including finding a room at that early hour. The room was clean and very comfortable.

  This hotel is in Chinatown and located only a few doors down from directly under the Manhattan bridge. Sounds terrible but it's not. We were on a budget and this hotel was perfect. It makes a huge difference being on Manhattan, so as long as you can stand the Asian smells on the sidewalk, everything from here is as accessible as anywhere else on m... what people say » anhattan. The metro is a 5 min walk away taking you to time square within 20mins or less. The room was large, clean and recently refurbished. The beds - I though the hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. The location was good, train stations were 3-4 blocks away which made getting around town easy. The neighborhood (Chinatown), although dirty was safe. Staff was friendly and tentative for the most part. The rooms, for being nyc were good size. There was not porter fee to pay for as a group booking.
