Our stay here was perfect! we came a little after the check in time and the lady was nice enough to turn on the AC for us and had the keys and everything ready once we arrrived. The place was immaculately clean and very well kept. The room was nice and tidy. Fran Cove was near the strip and it was just a few minute's drive to any of teh attraction Lake George has to offer! My family enjoyed their stay here, especially at the pool. Everyone was friendly. Will stay here again, highly recommend!.
all reviews » the fact that the room was clean was enough for us. we could put our heads on our pillows and sleep. very very important to this family! we were only there for one night but will return. the pool looked beautiful and the bbq'S spotless. the brook in the back....perfect. the location puts you right near the Lake George Village without having to stay right in the busy shopping district. the trolley takes your right from the hotel down into the village so you don't have to worry about parking or having a few drinks with dinner. Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool was sparkling clean. The motel was within walking distance to downtown Lake George village. Babbling brook, mountains visible in the distance; really a pleasurable experience for this family trip. Wonderful accommodations. Clean, friendly, beautiful surroundings. convenient to attractions and such a wonderful bargain in a very expensive world. Free coffee was delicious too!!!!. Easy access to Lake George and surrounding area. Nice porch for sitting in the sun and reading. Calming brook running near by. Picnic tables and grills available. Staff helpful and cheery. No breakfast but a complimentary coffee available outside the office. Quality meals available nearby. Being surrounded by the mountains. The location being out of the Village but only minutes away. Did not have hot water the following morning. Since they had just opened for the season I assumed something was wrong with boiler system. I told the staff before I left and hopefully the problem was taken care of. need to have fans in bathroom.\Parking was a little inconveniet. especally if there was bigger vechicles in the parking lot. Small room, no coffee maker, iron, or microwave oven. Fan really loud. coffee system inefficient and slow. road noise. Bathroom door and room door difficult to close and noisy. Humidity smell in the room and the fridge not cold enough. Highway Noise. The bed was a little too hard and because of the older hotel, it leaned back toward your head. Small TV. No vanity in the bathroom. Dirty washcloth left behind bathroom door. Room had a stark atmosphere. Uncomfortable bed. Very thin walls. nothing all good.
