This motel has gone through some major renovation since I was there last in 2007. wow, what a make over. All rooms new floors, walls, furniture, beds, bath and no smell. They have a new access road that is much more convenient then turning off the off ramp. I missed it the first time and it took me 1 hour to get back to the entrance to the motel. Now if you miss the entrance - just turn at the stop light and follow the signs. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
all reviews » I liked the uncarpeted flooring in our room (laminate?--couldn't tell). It was beautiful, and I liked the fact that we didn't have to worry about carpeting harboring fleas in this pet-friendly motel. Also liked the fact that for the first time in a long time, our no-smoking room really didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The king size bed was comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean, and the price was pretty good. I was given a discount for a block of rooms, even though I reserved a day late. When I thought I had an issue with funds, the gentleman working the desk at 10pm, 4-6-13 was very accommodating and and really made an effort to help me in my time of need. The people from the front desk are very nice and friendly. In my room everything was new and clean. I had all the basics I needed for a night's lodging at a very reasonable price.. Everything was fine. So happy that I was able to check in early. beds were comfortable and staff friendly. convient location. I appreciate that Motel 6 accepts dogs! Thanks. The location was great - right across the road from the King of Prussia Mall. Front desk staff was very nice. The location. Price. Nothing. It was terrible. Never stay there again. The mattress was and extra firm, like sleeping on a board. This can be fixed with a topper. Also, no waffles in the morning only coffee, but the wawa is just around the corner. Towels were scratchy, and the shower spray was not adjustable. The bathroom sink drained VERY slowly. Why no pool?. The noise, I got some phone calls that were nasty, in the middle of the night it was scary. No coffee or hot water facilities for tea in the motel, no bedside alarm clock. No elevator. Had to climb stairs to the third floor. They forgot to clean my room between the two nights. Fair amount of noise in the hallway. The "wood like" floors made a poor impression. It felt like a cheap hotel. Not free WIFI. no refrigerator in room and the room was in rough shape broken towel bar in bathroom and toilet seat was broken also. The room didn't include some of the basic things you would expect - alarm clock, tissues, blow dryer, shampoo. Also, I killed a cockroach as we were just settling in. Hallway carpeting was disgustingly filthy - needs replacing Entire place smelled a bit musty. only ice machine was in the lobby. nothing that I used was replaced. staff worked to long(the young lady that checked me in 4pm sunday was there until Tuesday morning). Cock roaches no ventilation in smoking room. hard to enter hotel parking area. The evening we stayed in the Motel 6 was cool and rainy. I attempted to warm the room at our arrival and the heating cooling unit did not work. Also the hall we stayed on was under construction, so we initially thought we were on the wrong floor till walking some with our luggage to find our room down the hall. It would of been nice to know that in advance form the clerk. The room had a permanent smoke smell despite being a 'non- smoking' room. The room didn't have a fridge and microwave despite being advertised as coming with both. The room was adjacent to a highway exit ramp, so there was occasional traffic noise. Some other patrons were deliberately loud (E.G. shouting and/or singing in the hallway during late night and early morning hours). Reservation was for a king room, NON-SMOKING. Someone went by the hotel in advance in person, requested that we get a new/renovated room. We got 2 queen beds, SMOKING, and old room. Room and whole wing STANK of cigarette smoke. Also, there was sand in/on the sheets in the bed. The covers were dirty and bleached. The hot and cold water handles on the sink were mixed up so we thought there was no hot water. We did not get cleaning service on Thanksgiving day because it was the holiday. Really!!!!!!!. Hotel under construction, rooms smelled horrible, rooms were dirty, rooms did not have frig or microwave like they were supposed to....I could go on ....just a terrible experience. No amenities, towels were small and worn thin, blankets on the bed were stained, hair stuck to the walls in the shower, ice machine was broken, hotel was under construction, the halls and elevator reeked of smoke, place in general was run down. Room smell, bed too firm, hard to get to when travelling east to west.
