  We had a 2nd floor apartment on a 2 storey block - try to ask for the 2 storey buildings when you book. It was fantastic. The location is great, just in front of the beach.We sat on our balcony every night and watched the sun go into the sea and then the sky turn beautiful colours. It was good to be opposite the shops. We liked the pineapple in the fridge when we got the - The view of Molokini Crater, Kahoolawe, and Kameole Two was unparalleled. The morning snorkling off the rocks in front of Hale Pau Hana afforded a great variety of fishes and many green sea turtles. Our unit was superb and the other guests and staff were friendly.

  It is the best location for view. You have the sound of the ocean, and a view that doesn't compare. The one bedroom condo we had was upgraded, very clean, fully equipped and comfortable in every way. It's not a hotel so there's no check-in. Be sure you know your room number before you get there.   The staff were friendly, but busy. Anyone who made noise before 8am were reminded of the quiet rule. Everything was well-regulated, including the parking- you better park between the lines or else! That's okay, I have rental property and I thought that was great. - excellent place to stay. Friendly staff. Beautiful location. Great Family/children... what people say » stay. Owner on top of what needed to be fixed the next day(the latch on the sliding door broke, he was there next day no problems).

  The condo was on the beach and offered excellent facilities. It was light and airey and there was free parking facilities and wifi. Geographically the condo was easily to find and was in a good position to access other places on Maui. It was lovely to wake up in the morning to look over the Pacific ocean. Included was a washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher wi - I really enjoyed the location. We were close to everything needed and had easy access to a great long stretch of sandy beaches. It was nice to see and listen to the ocean each night as we went to bed. People were friendly and could enjoy morning and evening strolls down the beach. The rooms were well kept and very clean, I was very pleased to have a washer and dryer in our room.   The oceanview is fantastic. What you want to do is simply sitting on the balcony and looking outside, sunrise to sunset, everyday. The view is so amazing that you don't want to go anywhere else. It is very near a small local foodmarket. You can find something special there. And the seller are kind. - Terrific area on Maui. Close to everything yet... what people say » quiet so it really felt like a retreat. There is a good mix of owners and renters at Sugar Beach and got to meet them at the pool. We did get a bit of information from them that was helpful in regard to best places to eat and see.
