The place is very clean and well-maintained. The woman who runs the hotel is very organized and on top of everything. She gave pretty good area recommendations and was always willing to answer questions. We got a good deal on a room for a week-long trip, much less expensive than some of the inns/cottages closer to Kennebunkport, and walking-distance to the beach! Plenty of parking. Loved the setting and a hop, skip, and a jump to the beach. The staff are very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms clean and the King Suite spacious for the rental cost. A very pretty setting and convenient to restaurants, hikes, shopping, and entertainment.

What a wonderful place to spend your Kennebunkport area vacation. The staff is wonderful and attentive. It is a clean and friendly Inn. Would recommend it always. A good value for the price. Large, comfotable rooms with fridge and microwave. Near to town and the beach. Good light breakfast. Wi-fi included. It had a very bed and breakfast feel. They were very accomdating and offered many suggestions of things to do on our vacation. Owner was so nice and very helpful with what ever I needed - parking, where to eat etc. great locaton- a bit away from the main drag. generously sized room, no major issues. We enjoyed our stay and didn't experience any issues. The friendly hostess and the quiet. room was huge and airy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel could use some work screen door needed to be fixed bathroom shampoo and etc needed to be replaced each day. Staff was very nice, friendly. Goose Rock Beach was lovely. Area was quiet and relaxing. Walking distance from Goose rocks beach. The walls are thin, so you hear a little noise. Friday night featured a lot of drunk people roaming about. But for the majority of our trip this was not a problem. The breakfast is included but leaves a little something to be desired. We ended up going down the road a couple of times to Goose Rocks Dairy for a full breakfast over the weekend. The lighting in the King suite was not conducive to reading. Housekeeping could be better. Computer available for guests, but printer out of ink. Some room updates would be needed soon. Room had a strong smell like what you hang in toilets - Everything else seemed clean though. room was a bit musty but that really wasnt a problem. small pool and lounge area;. The room we had was always very "damp" feeling. We noticed when someone checked out, the door to the room was left open and there was a fan or dehumidifier going. We feel that Ocean Woods has a definite "moisture" problem. Decoration!! not up to date. Old furniture not matching. They obviously have a water problem as the place smelled terribly musty. We found silver fish on the nightstand. The furnishings were beautiful but uncomfortable. The bed was like sleeping on concrete.
