Great location - bus stop literally round the corner, beach a short walk away and restaurants and shops everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly; pool fine; decent-sized lobby for meeting up in; rooms were spacious and clean. There were 14 of us with 7 teenagers travelling as a group and it suited us perfectly. Very good value for money and we would definitely go back. the location was central to everything we did. The rooms were clean, staff were helpful with everything we needed. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.
all reviews » The front desk hostesses was friendly and very helpful. The pool was refreshing and clean. Like the idea that you had to use your room card on the elevator to get to your floor, good for security. The room was clean. Our one bedroom with kitchen was a good size for the family especially as the main bedroom had 2 double beds meaning our children (1 girl 1 boy) did not have to share a bed seen as there was also sofa bed in lounge. More than I expected for the money. Very helpful staff, good housekeepig. The facilities were clean and spacious. Near all city conveniences and walking distance to the beach and local convenience stores.. I asked the girl at the front desk where we were able to smoke, and she offered me a smoking room. Very nice of her. The housekeeping were amazing, very friendly. Location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and the shops. Nice, decent size swimming pool, balcony, large, comfortable rooms. More suitable for people who are happy to be out and about doing things, than sitting at the hotel - rooms basic and functional, daily clean was a little hit and miss (sometimes beds made, sometimes some beds made, sometimes fresh towels!!). Overall very good value for money, great lcation and staff, just dont hang out at the hotel a. This hotel had everything near which was very useful, shopping center bout two block away, resturant are close as well. The staff was nice and very helpful. And having a kitchen was a bonus as well because you don't have to go out all the time. Tried the restaurant once for breakfast and was disappointed. The couch bed was not the most comfortable. Our view was limited and not great. Keys kept demagnetizing. The bathroom is a little small. Although clean the place was a bit run down and dated We had a room with kitchenette yet there was no toaster or jug for making hot drinks. Nothing. I CANNOT beleive that you charge for local phone calls going out of the room to order pizza, doesn't the hotel pay for a phone package? What a rip off! This was on top of the charge that I had to pay for an in room safe, just so I felt comfortable leaving my belongings in the hotel. A little bit tired and run down, but comfortable and clean. Needs to improve on cleanliness in the bathroom. Couch hide-a-bed needs updating-very uncomfortable! After hour Parking access was a nightmare!. noisy,needs double glass in doors to deck,pull out bed no good for 22 year old. nothing. You have to pay for internet which is unheard of these days. Also they charge for the safe. Noisy old fashioned aircons and need for room and furnishing upgrades. No replacement coffee each day - cost of $1 per filter per day was a little bit unexpected, but realistically Starbucks is down the road!. -Carpet was sticky and felt kinda wet -Bathroom floor was sticky -They didn't have any drop off spots for luggage or a parking area for you to check in. -Parking was expensive and two-three blocks away from the hotel. -You had to pay for Wi-Fi. There was a safe in the room but it seemeed unnecessary to charge $4 a day for its use. It was also disappointing to not have free wifi. There was a coffee machine in the room but they did not supply extra coffee. Just about all other hotels in the USA that we stayed at included free wifi, safe, coffee and parking. The rooms were in need of refurbishment, for example the shower sprayed water in all directions as the shower head was broken. Air condition old and very noisy Hard beds. The pull out divan was awfull. Decor outdated; shower very small--you couldn't bend down, you had to bring legs up to wash; housekeeper very rude--seemed to be inconvenienced each time, did not vacuum room. Not being able to check in sooner. kitchen facilities very worn/old. Very noisy. Really need to be renovated. Rooms were way out of date and needed some repairs. Parking in Waikiki is a nightmare and at the hotel it was no different. We have to park 2 blocks away in a mall parking garage. internet facilities lacking. Incredibly noisey. Could basically hear everything going on in the next rooms or out on the road. Had terrible sleep/. Parking ($20) was hard to find at night. bathroom sink and shower too small, faucet too hard to turn on off.No. stinky room. Dirty rooms needing paint, very short bed (I'm only 162 cm and my feet were over the end of the bed), rusty sink in bathroom, flaking paint, very low ceilings, thin walls, baby could squeeze through banisters on outside balcony -very depressing rooms. Room smelt damp and carpet was sticky (no exhaust fan in bathroom and no ventilation). Booked room for 2 adults and 3 children and only had a queen size bed and one sofa bed. Stains on bed quilt. Newer options available in Waikiki at similar price. Facility suffers from being too long without proper maintanance; furniture seemed to be too much used and deserve change. The price was too expensive for the type of room we had and its too high for parking it should have been free. The hotel pictures on line did not accurately represent the hotel. There was smoking everywhere, the hotel was filthy, the kitchen was disgusting, the anthropomorphic had rust nd mold all over. everything. was supposed to stay 4 nights but checked out as soon as possible.
