This is a very old facility that used to be the Bell Meade Motel. It has been partially renovated and renamed. It was a decent place to stay at a rock-bottom price, which is what I was looking for on this solo trip. Great value if luxury is not a priority and you just want a clean place to sleep. This motel is old but very well kept, we were satisfied with all of it, not much of a breakfasst but we ate it. I wouls stay there again.
all reviews » The location was great for me. Just a short drive to the resort. Front desk young lady was very pleasant and helpful. The room I stayed in was Queen one bed. Very nice, clean, and roomy. Clean room. Bed comfortable and able to bring pets. Price was good for the stay. It was in a good location. It was a good location the person on the front desk was great she was friendly and helpfull. Location, refrigerator, price and the front desk staff was very pleasant. Price, location to destination, bed was comfortable. Beautiful grass. Location. Nothing. nothing. Cigarette burns on the blankets. Broken window shades. No daily housekeeping service. Free breakfast was boring cereal and white bread toast. 1. When I first arrived the desk clerk asked if I had a reservation and I did. she looked in the computer and told me $200.00 after letsbookhotel.com quoted me an online price of $163 for 3 days. 2.Housekeeping was inconsistant. The fisrt day I had to call for hosekeeping and they didn't come until after 2. The next day they came at 11am, I wasn't dressed and asked her to come back and she told me NO she couldn't. The front desk person, was unprofessional. I had gotten lost at 1am coming from Rawley Springs. I had called at least 2x, but no one had answered. When I had gotten directions and came in, the woman was on the phone with her boyfriend. I had booked the room online, and she couldn't find my information and the card number my fiance paid. So I had to pay out of pocket. The pillows were horrible!. Cockroaches, holes in bathroom walls. Blanket stained. Weak coffee and very limited breakfast. Overall I would give this place a 2 rating. Breakfast was very basic. Toast and cereal. No fruit or beagles. I received 5 spider bites, they did not have wifi (as advertised) and the free breakfast was cereal. This motel is not what they advertise on the website!. Breakfast was a joke(non existent). The light next to the bed did not work. The shower handels don't match when going to breakfast some one was sleeping on the floor. Room looked nothing like picture online, carpet had many stains, bathroom was dirty, bed was very old, free breakfast had cereal, coffee and toast, cream for coffee was powdered and I had to find milk for cereal in the refrigerator that was labeled for staff use only, there were 2 containers of milk and 1 looked like sludge. Receptacle hanging out of wall, hair in shower, dirty entrance door-inside. Shouldn't have stayed when I saw the condition of the door to the office. Carpet disgusting; bad smell in room; tub drain poor; needs paint; continental breakfast was worst I have seen--no coffee at one point only bread cereal; no fruit; no juice; had a juice drink---it was awful; had elderly and homeless people and dogs there--I would take them off your website; we should receive back a complimentary booking for somewhere else. I was worried about staying, the door had to be fixed before we could get into the room. Microwave was outdated and the refrigerator didn't work. I wished I had booked another hotel because there where a lot of them neat there. Everything...its a dump. To be reported to health dept. Place was disgusting. Non-smoking room was not available, despite my having booked it early. Place is a dump. We check in and immediately had to check out and demand a refund. Room smelled, shower and bathroom where moldy and the shower was dripping from rusted pipes.
