I chose your hotel because of the fireplace and balcony. We LOVED sitting around the fireplace drinking coffee while admiring the fall colors through balcony glass door. We also loved the pillows which were the best ones we've ever found in a hotel. The staff were very courteous and prompt to replace a weal battery in our smokd alarm. We will definitely stay there again!. The location was great for catching the trolley to either the main downtown shopping district or to Pigeon Forge. The view of the mountains from the balcony was nice. Would be great when leaves are changing. The continental breakfast was additional savings and was quite nice.
all reviews » The rooms were not totally up to date but they were clean and roomy. Was nice to have a little bit of a view from the balcony and a sink outside of the bathroom. Location is great and not a bad walk into downtown Gatlinburg. The location and price were fantastic! The room was HUGE! Sink/microwave/small frig if needed. Shower head was actually above my head (6'2"). It was close to a trolley stop. Parking was good. Would stay again!. Nice location. Really nice mini kitchen (fridge, microwave, even a small stove). Pool was in good shape. Beds were comfy. Housekeeping did a nice job. Fireplace was an unexpected amenity. No complaints. We stayed just 1 night, but the room was clean and plenty big for 5(2 adults and 3 kids). Good Value, would stay again. Might bring the dog(s) next time. The location was very convenient and quiet. We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Front Desk staff and breakfast staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than most places. It is a pet friendly hotel, great rooms, oversized, would tell others and will stay there again. The fire place how close it was to downtown things. Hot showers clean solve problems quickly. the room was nice, new beds were awesome, huge tv, nice view from the balcony. pet friendly. I enjoyed the suite style room with a real time schedule for the continental breakfast. spacious room,clean towels brought in without having to ask,balcony,friendly staff. If I booked through this company again I would have a back up plan just in case. We had a very large room on the corner with a balcony and a fireplace. It was clean and quiet.We had requested a non-smoking room and the room was smokefree.It was economical. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate with nothing fancy. Location to downtown was as expected when viewed on the map. Size of room Comfortable beds. good value. Close to town but not right in it so not noisy. The bed was new (we knew this because it still had the cellophane on the base) and was therefore clean and comfortable. Proximity to downtown. Location. Parking close to the entrance was challenging for mobility challenged travelers. The biscuits and gravy were bland and the overall breakfast marginal at best. Needed some updates, but what hotel does not lately. The breakfast room was very warm...only a fan blowing. Entire property had a bit of a funny, musty smell to it. Parking was fairly limited and somewhat difficult to use. Hotel was clearly old and could use a little updating (old school heat/air unit in the wall of the kitchen had trouble regulating the temp of the room). Stairs stayed very slick, had to be careful walking on them. I had to hunt for the ice machines. Only 2 on the property. There were minor inconveniences as the rooms were being upgraded. It was a matter of timing. However, we would be returning as we are sure that the upgrades will improve the facility. The grounds were not well maintained nor clean. Breakfast needs more options needs softer beds. ?, I liked everything. Pet Friendly - Dogs woke me up extremely early on two mornings barking. Wi-Fi - Extremely slow and undeniably an insufficient router for the number of patrons using the system. the room was A non-smoking room and it smelled like someone smoked in it before we got there. The rain that we got while we were on vacation...LOL. The mattresses needed updating...were alittle on the hard side. television sets and flat screen Tv boxes in outside hallway by pool.. N/a. Dated room. The outside needs painting and updating but the inside was clean!!. Hotel accommodations not quite as nice as pictured,breakfast not as featured in ad and renovations on hotel was very disturbing. They were hanging new gutters and 7am every morning they were pounding on gutters and pulling them up the side of the building.At this time I probably wouldn't book online rooms again. When other guests with pets didn't clean up after their pet. could have used more vacuuming. The hallways were well lit but slightly run down or dirty. Like in need of paint. Elevator was old and in need of attention also. Bed needed new mattress. Didnt change bedding. Ober gatlinburg tram not open that wknd. The decor was not to our liking and the bedspread and throw pillows on the bed were worn and faded. We had a newer looking mattress, but was on top of an old mattress that looked worn and dirty. As with a lot of the hotels in Gatlinburg it definately needs updating. Stayed 2 nights, don't think the room was vaccumed when room was cleaned. distance from attractions. When we walked in to our room and it smelled like dog urine. I have 7 dogs that are in my house and I don't let my house smell like that. I think its great they accept pets but they should have rooms that are not for pets. The first room assigned to us smelled really badly of animals (even though they told us no pets had been in that room) and also the coffee maker had not been cleaned and still had the coffee dregs from the last occupant in it. On the day of departure, the very rickety old elevator broke down and we had to carry our luggage down from the 7th - yes SEVENTH floor, no assistance was offered. Cleanliness and room facility. - Dirty and smelly. - poor breakfast - Lots of insects in the surroundings. - Bathroom not clean. - towels not very clean. Advertisement showed hot breakfast! Sure was if u wanted to make your own pancakes. The advertising where we registered for the room was way off. The hotel is old and really needs updating. Dog friendly, but asked for one less used as such, smelled like wet dog. Not a good example of Red Roof properties.
