The room was fairly nice. Would have liked a better view, however when you wait until the last minute on a holiday weekend you have no right to complain. The pool area, karaoke was entertaining and the staff was very attentive. It was in the center of Seawall Blvd., close to everything. Nice pool, killer breakfast buffet . Honestly, one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had. Free parking, friendly staff.

Room nice , Like that there Were four Pillows on the Bed.room was clean we had a good view, Plenty towels For one day. Nice restaurant food was good. We really enjoyed the view from our fifth floor balcony directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The staff were helpful and food was good. We took out daughter to the beach because she had not been before. We did some sight seeing, shopping and the pleasure peir amusement. The balcony overlooking the Gulf shore was relaxing. The room was very fresh smelling and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Close to all the that we had planned . My children enjoyed pool first pool that had noodles and things to play in water with. Comfy beds, lots of pillows, HBO channels, pool with movies, across the street from the beach, balcony with chairs and table. Friendly staff, big rooms and beds, and nice balcony and sea view. Good breakfast. Close to attraction places and museums. Cleanliness, breakfast, nice shower and bath, location , fast elevators, waitstaff, easy parking, reasonable prices. We tried to check in a little earlier. Room not ready. I under stand check in is at 4:00 but all rooms not ready until 4:00 & after? 4 hours? Check in staff a little rude!. It's not exactly a 'beach holiday' but it is great for long walks along the seawall. Despite being February and it being a little windy, it was still warm enough to get great exercise and be near the sea. We needed more time there. Nothing. pillows were all firm, view on our balcony of the second floor was the rooftop and back of building of entrance to hotel (in other words, NO VIEW). Some smoking room balcony was so close to my non-smoking room balcony I "shared" their smoke, Room decor was not coastal or beach colors (not a big issue). The sound of the air condition in the room may turn to loud if you have to turn them on. Wat staff at restraunt was slow, we ran out of drinks several times. There wasnt much floor space in double queen room. i liked eveything no dislikes. They didn't have the chairs for kids at the restaurant! They gave me a buster/high chair for my 7 month old baby who just learn to sit on his own!!! My breakfast was not so much comfortable! Then my name was on the list for my free breakfast! I has to go front desk afterwards and gave them give me something to five the restaurant to adjust! Time consuming! Other than that... I liked my stay. N/A. Room was not cleaned well carpet was dirty, something was splatterd on the headboard and not cleaned ,vanity was not wiped off. The prices for the rooms. nothing. Nothing. Weather was unseasonably cold. Maybe time to replace the desk chair in the room. Pool was not heated, very cold. The fact that they charged for breakfast. 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, bacon and coffee was 30 dollars......outrageous. I was on the1st. floor could not see the beach from balcony.Had no balcony. Deceptive Hotel Description: Holiday Inn on the beach. It is not on the Beach. It is across the street from beach; and there is a difference. I made the reservation at this location because it said it was on the beach. Other hotels did not advertise as "on the beach". This was a disappointment. I would suggest taking off the "on the beach" tag. Filthy Air mattress deflated each night. Door to room stuck badly. No ventilation in room. waiting to use elevators. Ice machine didn't work. ATM machine didn't work. Management didn't seem to care. Sea side is a not looking at a top of a roof with garbage all over it . Hotel needs updating. Bad staff,pool and services. I checked out the second day and went to other hotel.
