I had stayed at Microtel before and I liked how professional and friendly the staff are. It may not be the best looking hotel in the El Paso Airport area, but because I was treated really nice the first time I stayed there, I decided to book with them again. Plus, the price is great! :D. We selected this hotel because it was close to the airport and we were arriving late. As always, the staff was very nice and treated my kids great. Clean rooms and nice furnishings. The continental breakfast starts at 4 a.m. for those with early flights. Love this place for the price!.
all reviews » I liked how it was easy to find and close to Ft Bliss. The nature of our trip was to see our son/brother before he left for Afghanistan. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. It was a nice place to stay after a 22 hour trip from Iowa!. Location and they were kind enough to pick me up when my scooter was low on battery. The staff is wonderful. I stay here often when I am flying out and in El Paso. Thanks. Room was clean and comfortable. Met our needs just perfectly. The location near the airport was very convenient. The only thing we didn't like was the lack of convenient parking compared to doors for entry. Seemed like we were always having to walk a distance to get in the building. Nothing. The pillows were very hard and lumpy!. That the first room they gave me smelled like smoke but they switched me right away to another one thank you so much Edward you're awesome. Long walk to laundry. though the room was small, and a bit cramped, it was up to what we needed or wanted. Elevator out of service. anxious staff re: credit card in order to keep reservation. Rooms are a bit small but well fitted. Shuttle van was old. cleaning room. Elevator inoperable. no free beer haha, everything was perfect!. Very small room. Short staffed - check in girl did an amazing job of multi tasking - but had to wait 35 minutes for van because using one van for two hotels and driver not very organized. Dropped someone off without picking us up. The breakfast was satisfactory. I know it is a continental breakfast, but the danishes were a bit hard. You also might want to look into buying new coffee cups. I tried to take the cup with me and as I walked down the hall, the coffee kept leaking out. The lid didn't seem to fit well. I finally through the coffee away to avoid getting it all over me. Upon checking in at a bit after midnight , I called the front desk to request a 7:30 am wake-up. Well, no wake-up call the next morning! As a result, I missed a whole hour and a half of the professional continuing education course I was to attend. In 50+ years of traveling in the us and Europe, I've never had this happen. No apology was even given. Incredible! Doctor / Albuquerque. Broken Elevator. The elevator didn't work which really wasn't a big deal AFTER we didn't need to haul our luggage anymore and the rooms were extremely small. It also wasn't close enough to eating places because we usually like to just walk to them.
