We had adjoining rooms, one for my boyfriend and I and my mother and brother which was very nice. The rooms were spacious, had refrigerators, iron and ironing board, hair dryer. The pool area was well kept and fun to swim in. The ice cream stand in front was awesome. The bumper cars were also fun. The motel was very clean. There was a lot for young people to do although it was too hot for most activities. The beds were comfortable. Having the two adjoining rooms was very good for our group. The ice cream stand had delicious ice cream.
all reviews » A typical motel which offered more than expected: Spacious room, comfortable big bed, clean, silent place, friendly staff and - as little extra - the outdoor swimming pool. Furthermore, it is only a few minutes to drive to the beach. The amenities - complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning, coupons for breakfast offsite and for mini golf onsite. Great ice cream and arcade games for the kids. Family fun at the pool with a no smoking policy. For the price you cannot beat it. The location was great and the rooms, linens were clean. Pool was also clean and just was a great place to stay that was within our budget. the pool and the closeness of mini golf and arcades for the kids. and the closeness of resturants. the price was great! room was a good size. We were extremely surprised. The room was clean and it was close to everything. Would definitely come back. No coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms, but that wasn't really a big deal since the office had coffee available. minor-but the bathroom faucet was hard to regulate so as to not get sprayed or to get a drink of water. I'm using this space to write and additional favorable comment. Thanks to the cleaning woman for finding my niece's bear that she left behind in the hotel room. Sarah was one happy little girl when her cousins were able to drop it off at her house on their way home. Sarah was so happy to hug the bear, she did not even take the time to remove the plastic bag that the cleaning lady had wrapped it in. Only negative is I wish their was on site laundry. I did fine out there is a laundry mat a very short distance away but on site is always best!!. bathrooms are outdated. would love to have adjoining rooms for kids to stay in for more space. Not a big deal, but the bathroom faucet would stick. Nothing. There wasn't anything we didn't like. The walls were thin and could hear other people but it was not bothersome. Not much discount for the mini golf. Would have liked pool towels provided. I didn't like the fact we had to climb stairs all the time to get to our room. There was nothing i didnt like. Insufficient in-room lighting Inadequate wifi. The photos posted on the web gave rise to higher expectations. Room wasn't ready well after check in time and we had to shower and leave quickly for a wedding. The desk attendant wasn't sympathetic and not pleasant about it. They also ran my credit card for double the amount stating that she made a mistake and told me that she thought I was staying for more nights than I was. Arcade needs to be updated. Cleaner pool Musty odor in room. The rooms weren't as clean as I would like them. Everything. Belligerent, rude staff. Drunken, low-class clientele. Cheap, cheesey amenities & accommodations. Beer cans in the pool.
