On arrival i was met by a receptionist with the surname DeSpain ( a young man ) May i say that what a pleasure it was to meet such an enthusiastic guy. you should be very proud of him. I already imagine he will go far in the leisure industry but I'm hoping my comment will get to him. Kind Regards James Alexander Topi. Everything about this hotel was nice and really met our expectations! You really get your monies worth and its in the perfect location to catch the trains. We will definitely stay here again!.
all reviews » Loved the executive suite! We stayed comfortably with four people! Very quiet at the end of the hall. The beds were comfortable, but need firmer pillows. Doorman, valets, Registration/front desk people especially competent and helpful. Always felt they had my best interests in mind. Comfort of beds, about to get enough towels, location of hotel in proximity to activities. Bell boys, maids were very friendly. One concierge was great. free internet in the mobby, good gym. Great Staff. Clanliness of the room Service staff Transfer & booking facilities. The bed was comfortable and the location is convenient. Helpful and friendly staff. Good gym. Nice room. good location fast, good breakfast. Quiet place Big room. Room was big. Clean, Safe. Location. Location. The lobby area and hotel bar/restaurants were beautiful. The front desk provided bottled water at check-in. Front desk staff was greate. Bed was comfy. Location. The only thing that annoyed us was there was a dog in the hotel that barked for AWHILE.. Tried to buy bottles of water out of the vending machines. Had to try at multiple machines on several different floors. None of them worked. Pillows. Not firm enough. Had a sore neck both mornings. Parking garage had 6.5 ft. clearance limit. Was upgraded to an executive suite, did not realize that I was also paying executive suite price. I was comfortable with price I found online where my total for two nights was approx. $354. instead, my total was $420. I had not counted on it being over $375. Reception staff were rude. We waited to be served when there was no one there. They ignored us and offered no assistance with luggage or wifi connection. there is supposed to be a shuttle for the airport but its very irregular so at the end they keep you waiting and tell you to take a taxi. I am good. room service was really good, but the quality of the food was sub-standard. The hamburger for my grandaughter was microwave special, my rib whatever was plain roast beef, and the sea salt potatoes was the same cold fries as my grandaughters. The condiments were great, mustard, ketchup, etc...... Cleanliness of the elevators- general areas wi- Fi was on & off all the time Noise of the elevator machine Breakfast was so- so ( 1 choice of cheese oly and it was philli cheese & there were no berries, just apples & bananas). The bathroom was terrible, the tub was stained and it had a slow drain which is not what I expected out of a luxury hotel. Plus, I think its ridiculous that parking is not included in the exorbitant room fee. This room was supposed to be completely prepaid but after parking and fees, I wound up paying an additional $50 out of pocket.. Ridiculous!. Very busy and always queues at reception/concierge. Noisy and crowded "DRAFT" sports bar; bland and characterless alternative main restaurant/bar. Not a great bed. Unusual for a Sheraton. Not a great value even for club members. Old furniture No refrigerator in room and if I want one I have to pay 20$. Very crowded. Long lines. Overpriced food and beverage for quality provided. EXPENSIVE; internet, parking, food all too expensive;. 2 hr fire alarm. A fire alarm began going off in our room around 2am and continued for over 3 hrs. This alarm would sound every 15 min. In speaking to the front desk manager the next morning I was told that the alarm worked as it was supposed to and they would do nothing about it. I asked her not even a complimentary water and she said "no". I told her I own my business and would never treat my customers with such disdain. She just smiled. It was too cold every where we were, meeting rooms, our room. Check out was awful, stood in line for 30 minutes when all we needed was a receipt (which tood 2 minutes). Since they knew a convention was ending, should have had express check-out or slid your receipt under your room door in the morning. The room size is very small for a 4 star hotel (especially a Sheraton.) The bathroom is extremely cramped and the faucet on the tub constantly leaked. While it was OU TX weekend and I expected there to be some noise, the hotel is very poorly insulated. You can hear almost any conversation outside the door and even 6 floors up, I heard traffic noises. If you are going on a very busy weekend, the parking situation is a TRAVESTY. 1. Room was hot 2. The hotel was hot 3. Bar staff was very interested in each other very slow service when there was only 8 people at bar. This was a sold out weekend Texas / Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl, Texas State Fair & sold out Eagles concert. Staff was in slow motion. No help in parking lots were full staff could say about street parking. Sorry will not return. The room looked nothing like the pictures online. Very old and outdated in comparison to the photos online. Hotel had a weird musty smell and we were next to the staircase that people slammed the door to all night. They had no hot tub and our bath tub didn't hold water well. Everything was way over priced. Overall was very disappointed and would never stay there again. Parking tiny bathroom broken pool that was closed thoughout our stay! Broken closet door high price. There was absolutely no parking nor valet. The valet guys were rude about the parking saying wet should have been there earlier. We ended up paying 30 to park 5 blocks away. We paid almost 300 and can't even park in the facility. Never again.
