Friendly staff, comfortable bed, quiet location, nice breakfast, easy taxi ride to the Riveria night club, reasonable price compared to downtown which would not have been convenient for us. We will return.

We were visiting friends in the same neighborhood. The Majestic was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay again in the future. The cookies were tasty. The extended time period for breakfast was appreciated. Staff was helpful and courteous.

It was a long walk around the block to retrieve my car from the garage. The walk could be shortened if the Hotel guests could use an access code for garage entrance.

Ambiance. The place is just soooo cute. And location. Quiet street just next to the lake, red line train station just a few blocks away and like 15 minutes to the loop.

The room was a bit too cold when we arrived but cranking up the old-school radiator in the corner fixed that in a couple of hours. The choice of breakfast could have been a bit better though.

It's conveniently located, being close to downtown and many north side neighborhoods. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The hotel serves a decent continental breakfast. If the broken elevator and the lack of hot water were just a fluke, then I'd recommend the hotel.

The elevator wasn't working, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. Parking in the nearby (several blocks away) garage is inconvenient because of the method of payment that's required by the hotel. Street parking is very tight-- expect to drive around for a long time. There are snow restrictions on many streets in the winter, making parking even more difficult.

Politeness of staff

Drab decor, poor amount of natural light in bedroom. Constant noise of dripping rain on aircon unit throughout the night.
