We wanted to see the moa and minneapolis! The price was great, the room looked as great as the pics on line! Clean and comfty! The beautiful white comforter was soft and comfy also! The hot tub was amazing!! It was the perfect distance to all the places we wanted to see! We want to come back and stay!!!. Housekeeping did a fantastic job with cleaning. The desk staff was very friendly. It was within walking distance to the Trader Joe's, World Market, and restaurants. We appreciated the shuttle service to the Mall of America. Easy on-off to 494.

A great relief after Mpls storms knocked out power and phone communications, making shuttle arrangements/connection almost impossible. The Hotel and facility were clean. I have to add that the bedding and beds were like sleeping in a cloud. The rooms were kept clean and the staff was very helpful and considerate. I enjoyed the free shuttle to the mall of America. I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Lots of free parking was very nice to see and free wireless. The room size and arrangement was like a mini suite. I loved the spacious room. The shuttle service was excellent!. The price was great for your hotel. The Sunday buffet was wonderful! Great, hot food at a great price. the price is good. If you only need a place to sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Loved the pool. Appreciated the Disability parking space near the front door. Comfortable beds, quiet location, close to highway, close to bars restaurants. Never a bad moment!. There was no refrigerator in the room. Disabled accessibility was ok, but bathroom was "remodeled" by an amateur. Drain for roll in shower was outside shower itself, bathroom floor was tile with no traction. Water on floor made it extremely slick. Grab bars were excellent, though. We came to Bloomington to enjoy the Mall of America. The only thing we didn't like was the limited shuttle services going to the mall and ended up driving the entire trip. Parking at the mall is not fun, a few added shuttles would have nice. The 10:00 closure of the pool and jazuzzi. No breakfast past 10:00. Limited time for evening meal. We were not impressed with the vending machines. We lost money in the food vending machine and there was NO pop of any kind in the pop machine. It is not very clean. There are spots all over. And the furniture is old and not in the best situation. Was annoyed because I had called twice to ask for a bath bench in the room at the time of my arrival. It wasn'T. I need to bathe and run. So I did with a lot of difficulty. By the time it came a half hour later, I was dressed & ready to go. There was a little staff communication breakdown somewhere a long the line!. parking shortage, outdated TV, no coffee filters in room, no glasses for water in bathroom. Sheets should be changed daily. Despite what they announce for longer stays, they changed my towels every day. Parking lot was not plowed after a snowstorm. Many customers getting stuck. Apparently snow plow company was 3 hours late; no reason really; kind of no showed the Park Plaza. Not fun. The road construction going on. Still haven't received credit for $15 x3, that was charged to my card for charges to the three rooms that I booked. Nothing. kind of hard to find,. The heat seemed to never shut off. we thought once it hit a certain temp it would kick off but it never did. room was a bit to small for a king size bed, maybe need to position things differently. should have more towels in the bathroom maybe have a mini fridge also in the room. Both of our rooms smelled strange, almost like mildew and the carpets were damp. We were told on letsbookhotel.com that there was a continental breakfast, but it turned out it was not included and we ended up paying for breakfast. I was traveling with my Girl Scout troop, and on a tight budget. To not have that breakfast included as it was budgeted caused problems with the rest of the trip. I don't know if this is a letsbookhotel.com error, or misleading advertising on Park Plaza's part. Location was not that close to the mall........ inadequate staffing, slow and inadequate elevators, no service in restaurant. It "felt" unclean, old looking and uncomfortable. This hotel was very mediocre. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom, wallpaper peeling off the walls everywhere, carpet coming up, no sheets on the pullout couch, the toilet wouldn't stop running, the elevators looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, and there was a blue light that shined in our window at night. Definitely not worth what we paid to stay there.
