Breakfast- lots of options and variety..... was very surprised. Pool- Big pool and it was indoors, i liked it because of how many hrs it was open. Rooms- MASSIVE!!! Clean and comfortable at a price i felt was very reasonable. Overall- very good hotel will recommend for any fellow family travelers . We were welcomed by friendly staff, a clean hotel and a great room all for an amazing price! We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool since IL weather is a bit cold for a spring break :-).
all reviews » Suite style allowed for more flexibility with meals and the room was large enough for the four of us. Location was great and close to drug stores, hospitals, grocery store and food. Our room was so nice. Very large and had mini kitchen. Nicer than Opryland Hotel and much cleaner!. Hot and cold breakfast was offered. Room was nice and clean. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Everything, especially the little kitchen, and how big the rooms were. Very large rooms, spacious for my family. Amenities were wonderful. Very clean and well maintained older facility. Spacious rooms. Facility was very nice. Rooms beautiful. Room size and value for money. The staff was wonderful. The room was very big and beds were nice and comfy. The front desk staff were very friendly. I must say when we checked out the gentleman was very puzzled when we wanted to pay cash. He stated that the office was closed so he didn't have change. We did pay cash eventually. The room was very spacious. Not many things... but my internet was down for about 45 min before a staff member connected me. . Bathroom could have used more attention, wasn't as clean as I liked. Indoor pool was not heated and breakfast was not completely set up on the weekend. Bed was hard, but will not keep us from staying again. Our son is attending ISU this Fall. Pool was unacceptably cold to be enjoyed. Staff stated that it should have been at 84 degrees. If it was more than 76 degrees I would have been surprised. I couldn't stay longer. Please upgrade TVs!!. The food wasn't something that was anythng of great value or taste. Need better variety. The floors in the hallways somewhat dirty. The carpets in the rooms somewhat dirty,worn. I have stayed here the past few years for training at ISU and this by far was the worst stay, because of dirt and not appealing breakfast. The bathroom was mess- dirty shower and chip crumbs on the floor. The included breakfast was less than balanced, no egg option, no fruit. 2% milk no skim or chocolate. Maybe they ran out I'm not sure but we were there at 7:30. I made reservations way ahead of time (several weeks) and they didn't have my rooms when I got there with a van full of youth group kids. Very upsetting. Then, they did not plan for being sold out and therefore, we had to take our kids elsewhere for breakfast. Very poor experience. Half of the outlets did not work. The sofa was broken, the breakfast was horrible. The bathroom had nothing. Not even a little table to put your watch or put a towel on. There was coffee left in the coffee maker in our room. Could've used more soap we only had one small bar to use in the shower and to wash hands.
