The staff at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta were friendly and paitent first and foremost. We felt as if we were royal guest each time we returned to the hotel after leaving. Lots of friendly smiling faces, doors opened, and well wishes. We really like the robes provided during our stay as well. We are scouting hotels in which to marry in the coming year and we took notice of the Zen garden and terrace as potential photo ops. Very Nice! We plan to visit the area in the coming months. Fantastic Place to.
all reviews » Location was great. Staff were extremely pleasant and more than helpful with our every request. Would definitely stay there if I returned. Only downside- outdoor pool- my children really wanted to swim . We enjoyed fitness center as well. Friendly staff, lovely location. Free transportations within 2mile radius. We opted to take a taxi to Chastain Park Amphatheater to enjoy a concert. When talking to the Taxi Driver waiting out front of the hotel he advised us that taxi will be waiting outside the venue. To our dismay there were no taxi waiting for the return trip to the hotel and we where left stranded in a large dark park at night with no mode of transportation. This is not a negative reflection on the Grand Hyatt but I want other couples to know what happened to my fiance and I. Outdoor pool no hot tub. Expensive taxi drive from airport because no airport transfers offered by hotel. Beautiful hotel, room was a bit of a let down compared to the luxurious lobby and restaurants. It was quite far for self parking, usually parking is on site. Paying for Internet usage. Parking fee of $32 per night. The lampshades were dusty. And other areas through out room were dusty as well. other than tht it was great. Self parking kind of far from the hotel. Room had "old' stagnant odor. The location is far from the airport. The bottle of water in the room costs 4$. The shower didn"t drain correctly. Water came up to my feet when my family to showers.This wasn't a good felling. other thatn that the hotel was an excellent stay. Waiting for a taxi, some troubles with Internet. Parking wasn't includes in room 20bucks per day and 4 dollars for a bottle water in a 200 hotel room was ridiculous. extras expensive (breakfast, laundry, water in room etc.). None. Walking up/down the hill to park. Receptionist was not good. I waited long time to check-in. I was promised my hotel by email, but it has not arrived-checked out Saturday 12/16. The rooms are need to be up date they look like a room from a 90 hotel. The bed and pillow smell very bad. I have stay in hotel of $ 100 the night better than this. Very disappointed.
