The staff was amazing. Especially the 'Breakfast Ambassador' ladies, they were so friendly and helpful to us - we had to leave very early in the morning to travel home and they certainly got our day off to a great start! The hotel facilities were really nice and very clean. Our room was a small suite and suited us perfectly. We only stayed 1 night, the location was perfect since we were in town for a show and could walk to the venue. I really can't say enough about the staff: from the front des.

Tommy (Shuttle Driver) went above and beyond for me and my partner, staying after his work hour to make sure we were picked up from the Philip's Arena after a late concert. Valets were also very helpful and friendly (several of them, but not sure of their names). Person in charge of Valet on the morning of 6/11 around 9:15 A.M. was great!. The bathrooms are very large. The breakfast was wonderful. It is very close to the Aquarium, Children's Museum, and zoo. There is a free shuttle to all of those places and others. The shuttle driver was very friendly and had a wealth of information about the area. The rooms were spacious and had a living/kitchen area seperate. The staff was hard working and helpful.Good value for money. Exceptional service by ALL staff, and had the little touches of a boutique hotel. We loved this place and would definitely stay here again if in Atlanta. Would recommend if attending conference as walking distance to convention centre. If just wanting to be close to CBD, the MARTA train station that is over the road seems a little unsafe late at night. Otherwise fabulous hotel :). the staff was very friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious and had a separate living space with a pull out couch and wet bar with microwave and fridge. It was close to the Ga. Dome which was the reason for the trip. Thought the carpet needed to be shampooed or replaced, but otherwise the rooms were clean and well designed and laid out. The one thing I had a problem with was the heat. It would not get hot kept blowing cool air. It would work for a min. Then got back cold again. Location for nighttime walking around a little shady. Outside the hotel the area is not the best or safest place in Atlanta. Area of town a bit seedy and left alot to be desired. As for question 5 below- I am not sure. I do not like all the traffic and construction in Atlanta. I prefer small towns. If you stay in a room with a sofa bed just be warned they are very uncomfortable and worn out. The staff gladly upgraded our room when our kids were unable to sleep on it because the springs were almost popping out. The sofa bed in the second room was only slightly better. Parking is $25.00 a night which I though was a bit high, but the staff working the valet are very friendly. ice on other floor, still in process of renovating, view from the room (ugly buildings). There was a lot off homeless people outside the hotel, (not directly in front but near) if your not use to city life this could make you feel uncomfortable walking in the evening and at night!. Its a shame that there was only valet parking available at a cost of $25 per 24 hours. The pull out sofa bed was awful! $25 a day for parking for the hotel your staying at was not good. breakfast only till 9:00. Being charged extra for parking, which i thought was included in the price. Even so, the price was great. Out of the 4 nights we spent there the shuttle bus broke down which forced us to drive where we wanted to go...it was horrible. They should have rented a van to accommodate the guests. They did however give us a cab ride for one night we needed to transport, the others we drove our own car, which is no easy feat in that city. Also there was never wifi in our room and as I suspect from previous reviews there hasn't been any...big issue. Really during the breakfast, a lot if people and looks like chaos and confusion. Breakfast. Noise from the street, almost throughout the night. No pick up from amtrak station altho it was confirmed earlier. I would just suggest that if possible, the space to access the entrance & valet parking area be increased to allow for improved vehicle & pedestrian flow. I also would like to have better coffee. The coffee was awful and this was not just my taste but those with me agree. Coffee is a relatively inexpensive perk that guests would appreciate. I did not like the handling of calls of the operator. I called the hotel before my arrival to check my reservation and when they answered the phone they put my straight on hold. I hold for 10min and I hang up and called again. Same happen again after I checked out I called the hotel because I believed I forgot something in the room and they put me again straight on hold. at the breakfast would have loved more fruits. dont have anything negative to say. Never have housekeeping services was bad 4 days. It is kind of in the hood. I was asked for money in front of the hotel twice However I do realize that it is a hotel in the downtown of a large city. The underground attraction was not a great experience. It could get loud with the noise outside and I did not feel safe walking away from the hotel. Had to pay for parking. Too many street people. Expected more facilities but it did not spoil the trip. 25.00 parking, but it was worth it because parking in atl is horrrrrible. Didn't have to search for a space and walk. The valet parking. It took too long to get your vehicle for the cost. Streets and neighborhood were pretty rough. Beds were not very comfortable.
