The Burj al Arab is beyond compare when it comes to service and a feeling of absolute luxury. This was my second stay at the hotel and just as last time everything was working perfectly fine. Perfect location, smooth check-in and check-out, very nice pool and fitness facilities. During the cooler months you can walk to JBR Walk, which is only 10-15 minutes away, or you can take a stroll on the Marina Walk, which is just outside the hotel. Being connected with the Marina Mall there is plenty of shopping and dining facilities close by if you don't want to have your meals at the hotel.

Everything was luxury, the hotel very comfortable the atmosphere is very relaxing, very clean and excellent service. Staffs were friendly and courteous.
The room is big and comfortable also the bathroom is big and it has everything you need. Dinning is great and tasty in the room or in the great restaurants down in the lobby.
The outdoor swimming pool and the pool area are so great I am sure if you have your children they will enjoy the pool and the water slides.

Booked a horizon deluxe room for two nights. Staff allowed us to check in early, however were reluctant to honour late (i.e. 6pm) check out that was advertised as part of the horizon package. We had to really push for this due to an early morning flight to Oz. Otherwise staff and facilities were first class. Would definitely stay there again, especially for breakfast which was outstanding.

The staff were amazing. The hotel is less then one year old and is spotless, although you get the impression that it will stay that way forever as the staff are constantly cleaning. The location is nearer Dubai old town with the many souks etc. It is part of the Jumeirah chain so you can use Jumeirah beach hotel, madinat, WIld Wadi etc for free.
