Then the lady (don't recall her name, but she stated that she was from Jamaica) provided us with a complimentary upgrade to a "Sea View" room (facing the "Palm Jumeirah").   I've traveled to Dubai on many occasions but have always stayed with family. This was the first time we chose to stay at a hotel, and I must say choosing Ocean View Hotel was a good decision. I read many reviews (mostly positive) before booking the Superior double room with sea-view (breakfast included), and I think all our expectations were perfe... what people say » ctly met. The facilities in the hotel were just right for what we were looking for on our holiday. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that don't deserve to - I had a superb stay, from the check in at 1030 am, they already have my booking slip and have my room ready, while we are checking in they offered us towels to freshen up, juices and cookies. When we get inside the room, everything is what I have expected, the ocean view is serene. We had a room service and they delivered our food on the rack to keep it hot. My husband likes the gym so much. They offer you good towels in the gym and in the pool (no need to be carrying your towel from the room).
