  I've traveled to Dubai on many occasions but have always stayed with family. This was the first time we chose to stay at a hotel, and I must say choosing Ocean View Hotel was a good decision. I read many reviews (mostly positive) before booking the Superior double room with sea-view (breakfast included), and I think all our expectations were perfe... what people say » ctly met. The facilities in the hotel were just right for what we were looking for on our holiday. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that don't deserve to - I had a superb stay, from the check in at 1030 am, they already have my booking slip and have my room ready, while we are checking in they offered us towels to freshen up, juices and cookies. When we get inside the room, everything is what I have expected, the ocean view is serene. We had a room service and they delivered our food on the rack to keep it hot. My husband likes the gym so much. They offer you good towels in the gym and in the pool (no need to be carrying your towel from the room).

  We only stayed for two nights but in that time the staff made an impression that will last with us. From the first interaction until the last the staff were friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. We didn't use the restaurant however we did use room service and the food was great. Not on the grand scale of some of the large hotels in Dubai, but definately excellent value for money.   In a word " everything " this hotel suits our needs perfectly. If we needed something we just rang reception and it was sorted as all the staff here are very helpful and courteous. When we travel to Dubai we always stay at this this hotel and have always enjoyed our stay as it is situated beside the Dubai Creek and is close to 2 Metro stations so ... what people say » it is possible to reach most destinations especially if you like to go to the Shopping Malls.   This is the perfect oasis away from the high rise buildings of Dubai. The hotel is calm, quiet and well laid out. Staff are efficient and extremely attentive without being in the way. Close to the airport but no discernable aircraft noise and you can reach most Dubai attractions within 30 mins - taxis are plentiful and pretty cheap.
