Our studio apartment overlooked an internal courtyard, therefore we lacked a view of the outside world and also needed artificial light at certain times. rent is very high. the sourrounding was under development. the check in took some while though it was redy booked using booking.com. Difficult to find.some time when you call the reception they will not pick it up easily. paying only in cash on arrival. The studio room was small and layout difficult. No sunlight in our inward facing room made days look dull. Shower screen design meant floor was flooded every usage. The comfort was not good enough, because of construction site next to the Hotel.Communication with staff. the kitchen has little equipment for cooking as the absolute basics are only found in the kitchen. There no cork opener, dish cloth or wine glasses or serving bowls.One would think at this price that this would be included.Pool was still under construction or being fixed. Noisy building for whatever reason. Somehow there was some kind of repair work (noisy) every morning (kind of annoying). Extras were pretty expensive (e.g. rollaway bed was ~US$ 60 a night (ripoff). Though spacious, no sofa bed. staff are not helpfull. Internet is free, which is good, but very slow, which is not good. No restaurant or bar. Pool not operating while we were there. the hotel information on the website said that the hotel is walking distance to the mall of the emirates when it was actually a bit far. it would have been better if they had specified how many kilometers or so. the hotel was also fairly new, so a lot of the services were incomplete in the hotel (the pool, the hotel sign), also they started fixing the sign early in the morning while we were sleep. yes, i have booked one night and during my arrival i change my mind and i extend it to 6 nights and by the next day someone call me to evacuate the hotel for municipality issue. and unfortunately some one from their staff change the contract that i signed from 6 nights to one night. which reflect a bad attitude. Noise from some construction early in the morning on Friday (weekend holiday), swimming pool was closed. Air conditioning not working correctly. Internet always down due to problems with server. Frequent reminders to the hotel staff for housekeeping, irregular times for housekeeping, very very poor mobile network within the hotel, senior managment was very curt in repsonse to extensions and not helpful at all, senior management worries more about the payment of bills rather than anything else.
