Room is very clean, well equipped and elegant, affordable rates and close to metro,mall,taxi and restaurant. We had peaceful stay and the ambiance of the room is so relaxing. Room is spacious and toiletries, snacks are well provided! Ull never regret staying in this hotel and will recommend it with my friends :). Really big rooms, well appointed. Older, however, for the price - simply excellent. Close to the metro, quiet at night and the breakfast was ok! Australians, you'll love the value for money compared to what you get. Simply Excellent! I would highly recommend this to anyone. Location is really convenient near Al Fahidi metro station. Room was large and kept in good condition and clean. Location of Hotel was strategic; close to 2 metro stations (Burjuman and Al Fahidi), supermarkets, pharmacies and at a walking distance from the Burjuman mall. After I booked the room using American Express and received my confirmation, I later got notice that the credit card did not work somehow and that the room was no longer reserved and I could still be charged for the one day room rate. I was to contact them before 6 pm and I got back to my computer and saw this notice of 5 pm only 30 min. Before I left for the plane. Something's wrong in the system here. At the last minute I got through to Rainbow and it all worked out fine. There is no harbour view in the hotel. Insufficient towel provided during stay(3 people and only 2 towels). No cold water present at all during stay. refills of water+ tea would be appreciated. found Cockroach in the room, entrance is not suitable for the WheelChair users, most TV channels and the food are indian. Sufficient towels should be kept in the rooms, at least 1 per person. The bidet shower was leaking, needs repairs (room no 106). At all times there is no cold water, should find a system to correct it. The Receptionist not friendly. They dont provide tea. No creamer for tea and coffee!. Too many staff on the entrance. nothing. Reception girl takes lots of time to work out. Items to expensive. Breakfast was poor. No internet for the period of stay at room for 3 nights, even though they have routers installed in rooms. windows are couldnot lock,room door having only common lock and personal lock not provided from room itself. Few insects were found entering and leaving some corner holes in the room, which made us girls uncomfortable. Reception desk didn't always pick up our calls and attendance to our requests were a bit delayed. The pool is too small in size to take a family. The room was not much spacious. Water heater was defective expensive rate per night. noisy, bad smell of the air conditioning, the receptionist is bad, not clean!. worst staff I encountered in 4 weeks of travelling. Hotel nickel and dimes you to death. $2 charge for milk in coffee. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Stay far away from this place!. The tea & coffee is free on the day u arrive. After that u are charged for even a tea bag as well. In S.A. the hotels fill that every day without any cost. What a shame. staff did not do a very warm welcome. I was having two suitcases but no body helped me to carry them. I found a cocoruch in the toilet. The pool was so small and not clean. There was a problem in the shower cabinet. I kept waiting around 20 minutes to enter the room while checking in although I arrived 10 mints after the check in time. The twin beds in the room are so small and the attitude of counter staff and house keeping is not good. Every corner was infested by bed bugs!!! We had a horrible experience coz we arrived at 2pm and we got the room free after 45 minutes and we abandoned the room because of bed bugs all over the room. We were bitten by the horrible creatures!!! I want my money back!!! We didnt sleep and we were late to go for standard chartered marathon!!! Very dissapointed!!!. there was almost nothing to eat in the morning, insects in the room, the price was very high and comparable to those quoted by 4 star hotels. I have stayed in lots of other 3 star hotels worldwide but this one was one of the worst in my experience. I would give this hotel only 2 stars. Facilities were not good enough, and the guality of the services were below the average.
