It was nicely furnished (modern style) large and very confortable. We stayed in a two bedroom that had balcony, green room, multiple A/C control. It was a great hotel with great service and nice clean rooms. There wasn't anything we didn't like at the Lotus Grand Hotel Apartments. It was just a pity we were only staying one night.We enjoyed the overall atmosphere at the Hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The facilities were very good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly at reception. Lovely big apartment, excellent gym facilities and nice pool. I like to have open seen appartment. Huge 3 bedroom apartment. The friendly atmosphere. swimming pool. Apartment was big and clean. Good size kitchen with even a washing machine. The only thing missing was a dishwasher. Two large TV's, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There was even a DVD player in the living room. Guest reviews on your website indicated that the keymachine did not work, that there was no hot water and that the reception staff was not friendly or did not know how to speak English is not correct. This is not correct. No complaints.Large apartments with good sized swimming pool on the top. Kid friendlydining area with toddler play area. Dvd player supplied. Car parkingsupplied underneath the hotel with access directly to lifts. Staff very welcoming, quick and efficient. Very comfortable stay. Clean and well presented rooms.Proper guidence and information given by hotel staff to guests which was really excellent. It was a pleasant and restfull stay between our flight to Australia. Standard is good. only problem is a temporary one, lots of road construction near the hotel that made it somewhat difficult to get to.The Hotel address on the cards and your website is incomplete and this caused us a two hour taxi journey from Jumeriah Beach, as no one knew where the Hotel was. There was one incident where there were no staff at the Swimming Pool and a young group of boys, were vandalising the pool. No supervision. I had to intervene and tell them off. the food (breakfast ) is simply so there is no eatable food.The location was terrible- not even the taxi drivers could find it- sometimes spent 2 hours trying to get home- V far away from Jumeriah- do not stay here if you want to do the jumeriah activities- you'll spend the whole time in the taxi or car as traffic is a big problem and hotel not in a very good area- pity as it was such a great apartment. It was a dry hotel and therefore no bar to relax in when we returned in the evening. Wouldn't accpet any other ID other than passport at check in. This was not made aware to me when I booked. After checking out they made me wait for 20 minutes while they checked my room for damages despite having my credit card details. Extreme difficulty in getting taxis, hotel was helpful as one member of staff did attempt to book one but it did not turn up. Another member of staff advied us to walk to main road and try and flag one down.not enought public taxis available. The directions to the hotel from the web site were very poor. E got lostseveral times and finally had to get a taxi which 2 of the partytravelled in and the remaining party followed in our hire car.Apparently the breakfast service is outsourced to another company. Some guest comments indicate that the breakfast service is very bad. This is not correct. Although I have experienced better breakfast services in hotels before, the offered breakfast is acceptable. Small thing that this is an alcohol free hotel and the location is awayfrom the centre of dubai. Every thing was fine but the staff need to know more about dubai and all the areas in dubai and need to speak betta english and understand english. table in living room was to havy to move (i think made by stones). Breakfast. we wanted to boil water but we couldnt do it as the kettle has a 2-pin plug. we could hv asked reception to ask for assistance i suppose, but we were short of time and didnt bother to call. Housekeeping was every two days and the problem was with taxis. Hotel taxi was very expensive. Terrible location and difficult to find. The pool was out of order for repairs.The surrounding area is under major construction works. the living room needed a little more touch ups , like a vase and some flowers , they just needed a little more to go all the way . the location of the hotel was hard to find . and there wasnt much close by. Breakfast needs improvement , Now i know why its free in the package lol, but its still good .A little out of the way, taxis hard to find sometimes, they have internal taxi, a bit more expensive but very good. traffic horrific as connected to a main road to Sharjah, don't go out during peak times if can help it. Internet connections a little pricey. This hotel is not very well known from taxi drivers. Hotel management should specify its location close to Canadian Hospital and Ramada. I tried their dinner once,variey was good, however I kind of thought the food was a bit old. In addition I thought it took longtime to checkout (15-20 minutes). During restaurant busy hours, mainly in breakfast times, there excisted some lacks of management in handling and providing the appropriate services for the guests.the location is currenlty having many detours due to the metro construciton. I expect this to be temporary. It is very convenient for the airport, but not so convenient for theattractions of Dubai itself.The buffet braekfast could use much improvement..... The reviews fromprevious vistors were accurate., The food was lousy at best. With theimprovement of the food services the Lotus would be very competive. we were really happy during our stay at the Lotus Grand Hotel Apartments. The quality of the bathroom supplies (towels, soap etc.) was poor. the hotel has to allowed the islamic ladies swimingwear which is made from silk and which all the 5 stars hotels are allowed. Airport shuttle service not available on arrival and too infrequent to be of use in the morning. An ATM would have been useful. Yes, by mistake, they got us in an apartment that was aready reserved to other people! We were lucky that we did not end up finding someone naked in the shower or something! We saw their stuff and bags so we left.shower curtain was not long enough so the floor got wet and dangerous. leak on one sink. breakfast was poor both quality and selection. not enough staff on duty. The staff were highly hostile, maybe they did not expect blacks to lodge in the hotel. I would of perferred if the hotel couldhave transfers to and from the airport.
