The location is excellent,on a peaceful busy road Supermarket, restuarant , shisha cafe all next door . 10 aed taxi to al sabaqa , or naif market shopping.two cheapest places to shop. 25 aed to dubai mall. A well maintained rooftop swimming pool.open till 6pm only , I guess it's for our safety . Helpful staff and the bell boy is super caring. Iron washing machine microwave all in the room. We were surprised to have free wifi , gets extremly slow at peak times and cuts off at times.Metro is 5 mi.
all reviews » Location excellent . Central to metro. And city centre. Come out of hotel turn right and walk . if you want a great choice of restaurants esp indian restaurants. Nice oriental restaurant 5m from hotel. Shishaa cafes . supermarket just 10 m to your right. Shopping. Al gurair mall is 7 mins away. Nice quite small roof top pool. staff ever so friendly esp the reception manager Sarfraz and Ana the helpful porter etc. Any room issue was quickly dealt with . will stay again. We had a lot of trouble trying to process the payment, because they have no online payment option so our e-card does not work, when we finally managed to get hold of a credit card (they wouldn't allow the booking without one) everything went smooth. They weren't very helpful in this issue, felt like they were trying to push us away so they can get a better price for the rooms (it's cheapest through letsbookhotel.com). Basic room is already a suite including 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Washing machine was appreciable. A lot of space and comfort in this hotel located just next to a metro station (5-7min walking) A girl workîg in the lobby offers organized tour in the desert. Tour was good and cheap!. We stayed only for about 8 Hoursa during two flight. The staff were very friendly and made it possible to get our room at 10am instead of 2pm. The Apartement was huge and very clean. The location is in the district Deira, where you can finbd a lot of good and cheap food. Good location, not far from metro. Staff helpful, I was able to check in after midnight without any problem. The one bed apartment is fantastic for a young family with kids, enough room for kids and space for everyone. I liked the fact that the studio apartment had every basic amenity and was functional. The location was also very good for accessibility. Location and even though was advised that early checkin wasnt possible staff went out their way to make this possible after long flights. It depends what you want from a holiday and what you pay if u want 5star top luxury then hotels in jumeirah with great pools etc. This is ideal for tourism and shopping with a good standard of living. Staff had poor english and was unfriendly as possible. Aircond worked properly but also smelt very badly. Wifi connection was not working in the room. Nothing. Breakfast could be better. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant didn't look all that great so I went out to eat. Internet was very weak. Microwave and washer did not work very well. Water pressure was low. That no free breakfast came with room, would have been excellent. Only one of the staff could speak English very well. Communication was a challenge even though they were very willing to help. The first room we were given had a lot of problems, leaking bathroom, toilet not flushing properly and electric stove not working. However we complained and had them change the room the next day. The new room served our purpose. The bathrooms could be cleaned better. Unprofessional Staffs. Not temperatured water from the pool, it's very cold. Room can be improved for sound prof. That they have to charge me extra for staying extra more days. And been charging me with 20% charges to my booking with letsbookhotel.com. Is that I can't find blender in the hotel. The pool only works from 9am to 6pm. The studios have an equipped kitchen but no liquid or sponge to wash the dishes. Really slow Internet connection. Breakfast was very ordinary. I think they advertised a swimming pool but we didn't get to see or use it. Also they took more than 24 hours to rectify an Internet failure on my floor. No thing. Lack of kitchen utensils in case one has to cook meals. For normal warming up of food or breakfast there were enough utensils. Hot water was luke warm and low pressure. So showering took a long time. air con was noisy. N/A. The machining machine does not dry clothes, the internet is a bit slow and goes off occasionally and the electric supply trips off occasionally when using the cooker. They don't keep lost and found. There are no spoons and more utensils in the kitchen. They have a pool supervisor. He stands to close and look directly at you while you are swimming with family. He needs to learn how to observe from gentle ways. WiFi services still need to be upgraded in all areas of the hotel. This is my 3rd time to stay at icon but this time some of the room facilities was not working fridge, Kitchenware and the oven. Wifi is not good Swimming pool timings Restaurant. When we booked the room, we had indicated under 'special requests' the hour of arrival (late at night) and that we would need a crib. There was no crib when we went to the room and we had to wait 3 hours for it to be brought in. Nice Hotel, just dat they need to clean d rooms very well! Noticed that d sitting rooms chairs was very very dusty and dirty! D toilets not dat clean! Cleanning was not 100 percent!. Internet is slow. Wifi is slow. In my bedroom sometimes no signal at all.
