Location-location-location. Tourist Club Area and right next to Abu Dhabi Grand Mall. Convenient for shopping, eating, movies, etc. Very central. Main plus to me is the use of Le Meridian Pools, beach & Restaurants. Nice breakfast for 70 uae. I have gotten rooms here for as little as 199 a night last minute!!! Location, price and pool. i liked the location and the affordable price for all, even those who earns little can fit in La Residance which is very exellent. i liked the location is also very nice abit quiet waoow i enjyed and promise to come again.
all reviews » Compact studio is good value for money. Great facilities: beach, pool, gym. Captain's Arms for a pint in the leafy courtyard. Talay for excellent Thai food. Near to Abu Dhabi mall, supermarket and The Warehouse club. Value for money. Got access to pool/ beach/ gym at Le Meridien, without paying that much. Nice cafe in the lobby for eating breakfast with friendly staff. Cleaners were friendly and the concierge was helpful. After long day in Abu Dhabi, it was a great to find this hotel. Friendly staff and it is very clean. Moreover, it is close to Abu Dhabi mall and it is easy to find restaurants and other shops in that area. The hotel staff are always very friendly and helpful in all areas. The hotel bars, beach area and restaurants always have a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Great facilities and great location. Staff very friendly and helpful..i was allowed to check in earlier than usual as had an early flight..this was much appreciated after a long 14 hour flight..i will definitely stay again. M.J. Great value for money as it is attached to Le Meridien and all facilities at the 5* Le Meridien are available free of charge - including the best hotel gym I have ever used. Although I checked in late as the room was not ready, but I got a suite instead, which was amazing, & the staff were cooperative and approved a late check out at 3pm. Excellent value for money. Close to everything. Le Meridien has excellent facilities and I had access to all of them. I would not hesitate to return to La Residence. Everything. What I like most is its cleanliness from every corner of the room. It is well-maintained and beautifully comfortable in all aspects. Its my 3rd time here & I Love it so much & the sea view is amazing whenever I go to Abudhabi I will book here again. I was welcomed warmly with smile. Wi-fi only available in the lobby. The receptionists were not friendly (at Le Meridien). Didn't even ask how our stay was.... It need to be more clear about the location and how to do the check-in. We were driving in circles to find this hotel, and discovered that it is attached to another hotel. In many areas the finishes and fittings really need to be upgraded / refurbished i.e. the carpets, the paint finishes, the curtains which would make a huge difference to the look and feel of the hotel. Small things that wouldn't cost the hotel a lot to put right. Poor bed - moved from wall when you tried to sit up. The place is in a serious state of disrepair. That the rooms did not have free wifi. need renovation no decent club. Every aspect especially our room is overlooking the beach. I couldn't think of any.I suggest the rooms in La resident shuld be expanded. . The rooms are compact but for the price you can't complain. The smoking was allowed and the room smelled on cigarettes, due to the AC. The windows were not well isolated and the hot weather was entering together with the sands. No one cleans the window and if you are close to them you will see the dust and sands into the curtains and the floor. The only negative thing I come across was that my air conditioning not well .I think its just natural. . very small room. long walk. old furniture. the kitchen smells bad and fringe is too old. The entrance of the beach area was closed, So we should go outside to go back to this area. We were on a no smoking floor but, occasionally, cigarette smoke came through the airconditioning, especially at the weekends. The room was a bit small. It was very difficult to find given that no indication on the location was given on the website letsbookhotel.com and that no one answered the phone when we were lost. La Residence is located at the Meridien, and one must check in at the Meridien reception desk. Our room wasn't ready when we got there at 2.10. It took nearly an hour to get the room which is a long time when you only have one night, unacceptable. No hot water in shower for full week, despite daily requests to get it fixed. Breakfast has declined in quality year on year (but is still good). Parking availability. All rooms give a very old and shabby look therefore all need renovation. Lobby very weak and depressing. Elevator looks too gloomy and same goes for hallways ...carpeting in complete hotel needs to be changed .. no internet in room poor free TV chanels. Room was not ready properly. Some mistakes in billing. furniture and other stuff should be changed. it should be mention properly la residence is le meridien so people wont get confuse. old furniture. very small room. Very small rooms, toilet is not clean.
