  I have been taking my mother away once a year for the last 5years and we usually stay at Premier Inn Brighton, from our first visit we were made to feel welcome and the rooms and service were of a high standard and the staff very friendly. The room was suitable for disabled people, which was great as I tend to forget my mother is 78 and i had not request - Good price, clean and comfy rooms, helpful staff, free hotel parking and very quite location - despite being near a park and ride bus-stop for in and out of York. (If you wanted to taxi ride it was less than £8.) There is a gastro pub within yards of the Premier Inn (The Dormouse) - it looked nice but we had already booked for dinner in York. Breakfasts at Premiere Inn were fine.
