  We were met with a pot of tea and cake which was lovely after our journey. Paul was very helpful re things to do in the area and lots of info on local walks etc. The room was small but had everything we could possibly have needed and the bed was so comfortable! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and I also found that the recommendations of places to eat and sites to see were superb. I would definately stay again and strongly encourage others to do so. An all round excellent hotel which is perfect for a stay in the beautiful surrounding area.

  Worth every penny - a fantastic small hotel It snowed heavily during our stay and the staff even cleared the snow from our car - We stayed in the Bowness suite and it was beautiful, we could not fault a thing at this place, will return soon

  Roz and Garry made my husband and I feel very welcome.The break was to celebrate my 50th birthday,we couldn't have chosen a better place.The hotel was very clean,bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing,good value for money.We will go back again . - They are very friendly and you will be really enjoy to stay in this guest house.

  We chose this B&B based on the high rate provided by letsbookhotel.com's users. I believe that everything happens for a reason and choosing this B&B couldn't have made me happier. Yana and Ian are two of the loveliest people I have ever known and provided an excellent service at all times. We were very happy with the room as it had everyth... what people say » ing we needed and more. The breakfast was really good and a big variety of choices was always provided. I don't eat meat and Yana and Ian made sure th - The couple who run the guest house, Yana and Ian, are lovely, very welcoming and accomodating. The guest house is well kept, clean and the breakfast is good quality. They also, when we stayed, offered little 'extras' in the mornings I.E. as it was over Easter home made hot-cross buns and little chocolate gifts were avaliable on the breakfast table. Home made cakes were also left in our room for our return on some days and tea and coffee etc was kept well stocked. We would recommend this guest h

It is ideally situated as a base for visiting the area.The welcome and attention from Dick and Sue was second to none .   Staying at Beech House has totally restored my faith there are guest houses that go beyond anything a hotel can offer. Maureen was so friendly, warm and inviting we just did not want to leave. The room was cleaned daily, the breakfast cooked to perfection and early check-in was not at all a problem. We would definitely return! - It's the best place I have stayed ever. Very kind and thoughtful staff. We brought our 1.5 years old for a leisure weekend. Room 9 was clean with a lovely view to the west. Bathroom was well sized, clean with modern fittings. Breakfast was plentiful, good homestyle cooking. Hope to come back again.

It was my birthday and we had chocolates left in the room and also a nice touch there had been placed a hot water bottle in the bed. Never had that before.
