This 400 year old inn is located within just minutes walk from Warwick Castle and the historic Town Centre. Each of our bedrooms have recently been fully refurbished to offer modern facilities in historic surroundings.

Owned and operated by Mr Osvaldo Valle since November 1998, this friendly and welcoming hotel has deluxe en suite accommodation, fine food and hand-pulled cask ales and wines to make your stay memorable and relaxing.

Having finally completed the refurbishment of the building, we are delighted to have received the following awards:

Everybody in the hotel was so friendly that made us to feel like homeand we woldn't mind that the building is a little old. The breakfast was really good, and the man who serves it was exceptionally friendly. The room was clean and confortable. very nice but a little expensive for what it was we thought. Also served hot water in a flask for the breakfast tea - had to ask for boiling water. otherwise very good.

Bearing in mind that this is economy accommodation and the Kings Head Inn is a very old building, it is tastefully furnished to reflect its age and character and comfortable in a quirky way. Attitude of the staff was good.convenience for town centre and castle / easily found if you come into town on the right road -A46/Birmingham road. No. Narrow winding stairs. Not the best choice for older people. Needs minor repairs. Bathroom door would not close/no lock.Rather small sink in bathroom of bedroom which was of limited use. This was odd given there was ample space for a normal size one. Shower was fine however. bedside reading light could have been brighter. Needed some repair, the shower was poor. Decor dated and paintwork shabby. Sunday beakfast was a little rushed. On first impressions the hotel did not appear to be very clean but this wasn't the case. It was the colour scheme used that that gave the impression of nicotine stained ceilings. Overall the cleanliness was reasonable.Rooms were clean but could be updated/modernised. The hotel decor needs a lot of attention and new carpet on the stairs - should not state recently refurbished in your description on your website. my only negative comment was that the shower cubicle was in need of repair. the interior of the hotel was very tired, when looking on line we wanted a en suite room with a bath which this hotel was stated to have, however our room did not have this. The noise from the main road outside our room window extremely loud well into the night.Collapsing bed, lack of hot water, no shower, no bathroom (was very cold). In desperate need of refurbishment - decor and furniture and breakfast policy - hot water available in jugs so cold. my daughter is 8 and she has a form of cerebral palsey and she had to stay on a camp bed.The bed bowed down in the middle.We hardly slept all night.In the end I took the mattress off the bed and placed it on the floor.Very uncomfortable.I didnt say anything to the owners.I was quite disappointed.Have stayed in other hotels and at least there is a decent bed for all to sleep on.Spoiled the break . could not get any sleep as the walls of the hotel were very thin and you could hear everything The person in the next rooms snoring was as if they were in the same room.

From J15 - M40
Take exit off Roundabout marked 'Warwick - A429' - Hilton National on left-hand side. Continue along the road, passing entrance to Warwick Castle on right. Approximately 500 yards past the Castle Entrance you will see a Tower on the slight hill in the road - take the left immediately in front of the Tower. Continue along this road, passing two sets of lights until you arrive at a small roundabout. Take first left - we are down the hill - approximately 100 yards from the roundabout - car park to the right of the building.

From A46 via Coventry
Travel towards Warwick on A46 from Coventry. Take SECOND exit for Warwick - A425 - Birmingham Road - towards Warwick Town Centre Pass IBM on the left hand side. Take second exit at mini roundabout. Pass under Railway Bridge. Straight on at Traffic lights. Pass Sainsburys on right hand side - we are immediately past Sainsburys on the right hand side.
If you do get lost, ask anyone for Sainsburys in Warwick - we are just next door.
