Very quiet and peaceful, however A1 is only a couple of minutes away, so ideal base for exploring the area, I would highly recommend this B&B, it is somewhere I will always remember and hope to return one da

  There's nothing we can say that's not already been said. This place is absolutely fantastic. The food was top quality and plenty of it. We stayed in The Garden Room and it was beautiful. The description of B&B really does not do this place justice. We will definitely stay again. - We stayed at the granary over the May bank holiday weekend ,and found it agreat place to stay to visit the local area.Ideal ror the Farne islands Bambourgh castle Holy island to name just a few. Our hosts Andrea and Gary were great and helped with any questions about the area .Our room was well decorated and spotlessly clean ,the breakfast was as good as ive had any where and realy set you up for the day We will definately use again if in the north east.

  I stayed in a family room with my father and sister ready for an early morning event the next day. We had to check out at 5am but the night porter was helpful and we were able to pay the night before. Very comfortable and cosy room, good facilities with hairdryer, tea and biscuits etc. Nice looking bar and cafe although we didn't get chance to sam... what people say » ple them. Right on the a1 so easy to find but still got nice views of fields from the room. - Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, good food in the restaurant and at breakfast. Reception staff super helpful especially when my husband brought the wrong suit to our sons wedding! Reception staff let us keep our room while husband drove to the Metro Centre to purchase the same suit he had left at home then change into it before leaving for the wedding venue.
