The hotel was excellent and certainly lived up to it's description and reviews. Marion and Les (the owners) were very welcoming (the pot of tea on arrival was very much appreciated). The Belmont is in a good location to the beach and shops. No need for use of car as if you enjoy walking you could easily walk into Paignton where there is lots to do! - the hotel was in walking distance of everything like places to eat have a drink and go shopping or go down to the sea front and harbour.

Owners Carl and Sharon were very friendly and welcoming. Property was exceptionally clean and room was spacious. Breakfast was great, always freshly cooked, with multiple choices available. We, and especially our 4 year old grandaughter, were well looked after. Location was close to the seafront, and an easy walk to the shops and train station. A very enjoyable stay.

Dave was very friendly and accommodating offering advice on where to eat and visit for different budgets. The food was good, freshly cooked and tasty. There is a small bar which has enough beverages to cover most tastes. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

From the moment we got there to when we left we were made to feel welcome. Friendly atmosphere, calm and casual, and very professional. The room was brilliantly clean; the breakfast is one of the best I have had away from home. Great hosts, great hotel, thank you Chris, Kerry, and Yvonne. My husband and I absolutely love the way Julie and John greet their guests. It's like visiting an old friend's house: going into the living room, have a cuppa and a lovely chat, rather than the usual "business like" check in. Myself and my wife stayed at the Cimon for a short break in mid-October we travel all over the UK I must say this most defiantly the best guest house we have stayed in all the years we have been traveling the country from the second Adam opened the door we were made very welcomed he made you feel at home.
