Great bar and Pool, good breakfast. The hotel was close to all amenities.A great break with mates. The room was lovely with a wonder view, the staff are very friendly and the food very good.nice clean room /good english breakfast , will us again. Access to Car Park. Friendly staff, the bar was large and comfortable with excellent background music being played in the evenings and at breakfast time. Position of hotel ,good to be near marina.Enjoyed the full English breakfast,food was very good and cooked almost perfect.The staff were very friendly and always availbale if you needed anything. The rooms were very clean and confortable. Service was very good. Being able to relax and come and go when it suited us. we liked the position which was quiet but close to the harbour, restaurants, shops and other amenities. The room had been recently refurbished. Hotel was historically interesting.Good situation near the marina. Easy access to town centre. Hotel clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Just off main road out of town great for access to moors and surrounding area.Comfortable surroundings, no interference to privacy. The location was great, very close to everything. The hotel looks a bit tired and needs some redecoration. The kettle was situated to for from any power points making it dangerous to use. ensuite shower room would have benefitted from heating.Breakfast was only an half hour window, could this change at the height of the season?. No loo brush in bathroom.No atmosphere and host too quiet. Towels not changed regularly. The room was clean but very cold, the bathroom looked great but had no heating in.Breakfast only from 8.45 - 9.15 is too late if you are on business. security could be improved i.e.reception not always manned and no one answered bell. We had to leave the keys unattended when we left.Time of breakfast too limited (only 8.30 - 9am). intermitent central heating system to the bedroom. Minor repairs to the room not carried out promptly on reporting to the management.the bar area ( pool table , dartboard etc. ) wasnt in use. Breakfast could be more flexible only half hour slot 8-30 to 9-00. One night there was no water. The green Swimming pool. Which was not advertised. The room was cold, also radiator not working.Breakfast was limited. no clean towels. water pressure was very bad...had to change room but owner was very helpful.....great location. my window in room was broke woulidt shut,leg on side table broke.the bathroom was tiny couldt move evert time we opened shower cubilce the door fell off.the bed was supposed to be king size as stated on internet but was not and very adrd nothin like pictures on computer. The bar was opened at the discretion of Management - having stayed there for 5 nights I never found the bar to be open. The windows had holes in them and there was damp throughout the hotel. Additionally, there was no lift so not great when you have heavy luggage to get up 4 flights of stairs (stayed on 2nd floor). Owners were never to be seen apart from breakfast time mainly. Very poor hosts!.
