"Pava" is situated on the outskirts of Tintern and has lovely views and easy walks from the doorstep. Tintern Abbey is a great place to visit, is quiet and peaceful. There are excellent walk in the area that cater for every grade of walker. The tree lined road from Ross on Wye to Tintern and beyond, out of season is a wonderful ride and in autumn... what people say » will look spectacular. Across the road from Parva there is a vineyard. Although a bit pricey the quality is great and a visit is recommended. (Access - Our room (no.2) on the top floor had a lovely river and hillside view. Bed linen, room and en-suite were all spotlessly clean. The room was very well appointed including plenty of wardrobe space. Although we did not use it the honesty bar in the large residents lounge is a nice touch and looked well stocked. A good choice of homemade food for an evening meal was available, but due to a late lunch we did not have the opportunity to indulge. Opposite there is also a nice pub if you fancy a drink

Thank you to both of you fo - Stuart & Martien are excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Although we had a small room it was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you could want. The evening meal was top class as were the breakfasts.
