What people say

This is a small and very friendly hotel. We were made very welcome personally by the owners, and the food is fanstastic. The real coal fires when needed are a great asset giving a real homely feeling. If you like olde worlde pubs then this is the place to go as it is full of old charm and history. Staff were very welcoming and offered advice about a venue we wereattending. Rooms were lovely and clean and breakfast was also to agood standard.
