What was wonderful about Halwell Lodge was feeling entirely at home with two minutes of meeting Eleanor. We had lots in common, especially interior design and gardening, both excellent here, and unpretentious, just like the service and hospitality we received. Peter's scrambled eggs were a gourmet luxury to top a fine breakfast each day.
