Impressive lovely place, good value, excellent layout, fabulous decor and furnishings, big bedrooms (we stayed in the Burton suite - 5 Star luxury) on site parking, perfect hosts Jayne & Steve who are wonderful and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional and made to order and served on hot plates! Location is perfect, close to bars/restaurants, shopping centre and Esplanade. The owners Jayne and Steve were very friendly and welcoming, the whole place is spotless and the room was very modern and comfortable, breakfast was lovely and lots of fresh fruit and cereal was on offer along with a cooked breakfast and plenty of tea/coffee. The location was excellent, very near to the shops and off-road parking was available. All in all a very nice guest house and would definitely stay there again.
We were 2 mature couples who have been traveling around England for 10 days from Australia and we all agree that Vale House was the best place we had visited The experience was made even more pleasurable by the warm welcome and friendliness of the owners. Would definitely want to stay with them again next time - the area was also a very pleasant surprise.
Everything! Friendly helpful owners. Very high standard of furnishings, lots of little extras, very clean, lovely breakfast, easy reach of the centre of Southport. Parking (even on day of departure) I would certainly recommend Vale House to anyone staying in Southport and requiring excellent accommodation at a really good price.
omg,what can i say about vale house.steve and jane were lovely,chatty and interested in what we were doing.we stayed in the burton suite which was absolutley wonderful,everything was clean and well presented,breakfast was lovely and we eat in nice relaxed surroundings.its only a small hotel but would return and highly recommend.
Just stayed one night but was very impressed with the comfort, cleanliness and size of our room.Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.Jane and Steve were friendly and could not do enough to make our stay a pleasant experience. Will definitely stay at The Vale on our next visit to Southport.
Friendly and welcoming. The owners really make an effort to give that personal touch that is often missing in other establishments. Wonderful, spacious room in a nice quiet area but not too far away from the centre of town. We will definitely stop here again if we ever pass this way in the future.
Everthing as decribed, pictures on website are true and even better when we got there. Rooms were warm, bathroom was even better than some 5* hotels ive stayed in. We were greated at the door and steven and his wife couldn't do enough. Definitely will return. Best BnB so far.
The guest house was run by Jayne & Steve, who obviously care about what they do. The room was excellent, breakfast was very good, and it compared favourably with any guest house I have stayed in. Good facilities in the room which was beautifully decorated.
Such a shame we were only staying for one night! The Burton Suite was just fantastic as were the hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying at Vale House without a doubt. Definitely a 10 of 10 and we will be returning.

We were made to feel at ease from the moment we were greeted at the door by the friendly proprietress. We loved the room with all the attention to detail. There was an air of enthusiasm and generosity about the place.
Very comfortable, clean with excellent hosts. There was a good choice of breakfast. Traditional full English or a more continental style. Vale house is not far from station with good access to Liverpool and Manchester.
I couldn't fault anything with it. It made such a nice change to stay in southport in such lovely surroundings. Some of the other guest houses in southport could do with taking some advice of the owners. 10 out of 10.

Everything, form the welcome as we came in, to the peace and quiet while we were there: it's very close to shops and restaurants, is newly refurbished, very clean, and the room sizes are generous.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Vale House with my daughter.. the owners were really welcoming and it was in a great location near shops and restaurants..would definately stay there again.

We loved the Burton Suite because it was designed beautifully and you could tell that a lot of effort was put into it. The bathroom was particularly awesome.
The Vale was a lovely clean bxb It is in a great location for all the shops. The couple who run it are very helpful and we would go and stay there again.
