Underground secure parking was a plus. Reception staff were very welcoming. The room was modern, smart and very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were excellent. Views from the bedroom window over the water was very pleasing. Room was very quiet and peaceful. Food was v. good. The hotel is new so therefore you expect it to be pristine and it was. Would definately stay here again. hotel was easy to find could have done with clear signs to the car park staff were very friendly couldnt do enough for us during our stay ordered room servive menus offered wide range of food which was excellent and service was quick.

Also the breakfast was great, lots of choices hot and cold.the food. nice clean accommodation.check in a bit confusing as my partner who i had booked for arrived early and checked in was out when i arrived reception didnt offer me a key to the room but was ok as hotel porter was around who let me into the room. I am still trying hard to think of something amiss, but can't find one. nothing apart fro no directional signage for car park. No smoking rooms. No swimming pool. Elevators very slow. One to car park not working on arrival. Booked the evening meal for 8.15 shown to table at 8.45 order taken at 9pm , restaurant quite chaotic staff taking meals to the wrong tables etc, but when we did eat the food was of excellent quality. Food not the best, but hopefully it was a lesser Christmas menu. No phone working throughout the stay als poor TV reception. no entertanment. Breakfast only starts at 7am - and they were still setting up (no milk) at 7am - not early enough for people who are travelling on to a meeting elsewhere. Restraunt waiting for food to many trays empty , floor manager seemed to be doing most of the work ,ie french manager, very nice guy. few teething problems sure it will get better in time.The staff we very unhelpful. We had numerous problems with the TV and called reception several times to get it sorted but it was never fixed. Room service was terrible - the menu that was advertised as room service and was supposedly available 24 hours day was not, they only did cold sandwiches and soggy crisps!! Not 4 star service. Despite being a fairly new construction the bedroom window was draughty.reception embarassingly slow. Poor service in restaurant(table booked for 8.30, starter arrived at 10.10.) Check in time 2.00pm room not available untill 4.10.
