Lovely friendly atmosphere, good location away from the hustle and bustle in St Helier. Only 10 minute drive though. Easy to find. Great breakfast really kicked the day off. Room immaculate, great housekeeping. Definitely recommend this hotel and will visit again. Room lovely and clean and comfortable bed, everything worked as it should, food good, staff helpful. Good central location for driving anywhere on the island. Nice guests lounge upstairs with computer and internet and armchairs.

Food was excellent and at a good rate. Rooms spotless and the daily changing of rooms was consistently done whilst we had breakfast. Service was excellent. Will come back again. An ideal place to explore Jersey from. Quieter than St Helier and with plenty of free parking. Good value accommodation and reasonably priced food in the pub area. Location,cleanliness and warmth. WIFI was not available in the room we had which was at the end of the corridor of rooms. Cost, Jersey is generally more expensive than similar hotels on the mainland. A bit dated. Showers were not thermostatically controlled therefore I think illegal! Old fashioned key entry doors are fiddly and noisy.Bedroom window double glazing all faulted. Poor outside sitting area. Could easily be smartened up.No "Reception" sign on arrival. We had window slightly open because it was warm and the door kept banging so had to wedge cardboard at top of door to stop this. Breakfast menu, although very nice would have liked fruit and yoghurt occasionally. Definitely need a car to get from this location. bed was not very comfortable. Nothing, it's a bit out of the centre but I'd been before and knew this. A car is useful. Nothing. room was clean but basic. Wi-Fi was a bit slow and very unreliable. Evening meal less good than when I stayed earlier this year. shower use of taps to regulate tempture. We did not like discovering we had paid £84 per night for the same deal as the other guests who had only paid £65! Especially as it was for 7nights!!! £140 extra is a lot more! No air conditioning and the weather was very hot the whole time. Some of the staff don't speak English which can cause a break in communication and misunderstandings. Not very welcoming on arrival. Seemed more concerned about Christmas lunch they were serving. Room was very cold with no heating on even though it was a very cold day.
