I did not stay for the breakfast as I left the hotel at 4.30am as I was heading off early to beat the traffic to Silverstone Grand Prix. The hotel was easy to find and so close to the M1.   My original booking of a single room was upgraded on arrival by the receptionist due to availabiltiy....certainly value for money.   I rarely leave reviews, but our stay at the Dun Cow is a worthy exception. We were visiting on business and needed somewhere to stay the night. The rate was very reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were very busy which was nice to see. The food is exceptionally good with a wide range to choose from. It ... what people say » is worth a visit just to go and eat. The atmosphere is warm and enjoyable. The room was a very reasonable size, warm and comfortable. The bathroom/sho - It still keeps the atmosphere of an old historic coaching inn with a lovely garden in the inner courtyard and creaky corridors to the rooms - not forgeting the massive open hearth in the middle of the pub. But the comfort factor was definitely 21st century and it was nice and warm. The continental breakfast was super, while there was a hearty English breakfast for those with an even greater appetite.

  Very freindly and the food was superb and the beer was good too woulddefinatley reccommend to anyone - Very friendly and helpful hotel staff, if I get the option to stay in rugby again I will definetly stop here again, made a crackin rare-to-medium steak too!
