Excellent stay at Shh. Friendly staff, clean and good quality accomodation. Only complaints would be the pillows are rather thin and the road outside is fairly loud. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, the rooms were extremly comfortable, Staff were very polite and helpful and the food was wonderful.it did exactly what it said on the tin!!. Clean, very smart but informal feeling.

No heating in bathroom and shower leaked over onto floor. strange catering choices for lunch or dinner but it wasnt priority for me anyway. The only problem was with car parking, but once we had been shown which road to use to avoid parking restrictions all was OK.Tiny shower. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room. no room service after 11pm. drank bottled water supplied. bathroom very cold no heating husband plummer and said the cost to run heating pipe through to bathroom would be minimal.glass see through door to bathroom. Teas and coffees should be avaliable for free in rooms, rather than being charged a pound a pot.Asked for twin beds but had double. No dedicated parking, but this didn't give us a problem as there is free parking nearby, e.g. on the road opposite the hotel from late afternoon (around 4pm?) onwards, staff can point out exactly where.The bathroom was freezing cold. There was no shelf by the wash basin for toiletries. From the bath, it was not possible to reach the wall mounted liquid soap dispenser and there was nowhere to rest a cake of soap. There was not a mixertap over the wash basin. The black bedroom curtains gave us the feeling that someone had just died there. The bedroom carpet was slightly stained. Limited parking. no parking, no kettle/tea facilities in room, no hairdryer in room,no restaurant.

By Train:
- Trains run direct to Tunbridge Wells Station from Charing Cross, London Bridge and Waterloo East.
- From the station, it is a 450 m walk to the hotel. Head down Station Approach and turn right into Vale Rd.
- Follow the road around until it joins London Rd. Head right, and the hotel will be 250 metres on your right.
