  Hotel staff very efficient and courteous, room very clean and comfortable, restaurant excellent. - Room was excellent value for money and staff friendly and efficient, I only wish I had time to make full use of the leisure facilities. Very nice to have a freshly cooked breakfast rather than the usual help yourself to dried up food!

  This was a special family trip to revisit places from 61 years ago. Age range of our party was 56 - 85. We were made to feel like part of the family and the staff could not do enough for us. Simon (boss) even advised where we should go site seein - Staff are warm and friendly adn efficient with a great sence of humour. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling. The room we had was light, large and comfortable and spotlessly clean as were all other areas. They clearly work really hard to keep this place nice. Had dinner and breakfast there and the food is really tasty, well cooked and mostly sourced locally which shows in the freshness and flavour
